Dont know why , WatchMyToon monitor works good, but the WEB side, only get the char name. the rest dont get nothing...

There is any update cooming soon for android app? I ask becuse allways when I get whisper I can't answer through the app and I must to turn on the pc.

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the lack of updates, I hope the version that people have downloaded are still working without a hitch. Recently I have been quite busy with work and life crap

Over the last few days I took some time to do some overhauls and updates to the plugin / website. I have not made any changes to the Android app or the Monitor Application for Windows. These changes are not live yet but just really a tease of what is to come over the next week or so. I am planning a vacation mid next week so I hope to release a stable version before then, if I am unable to it will be released as soon as I get back.

IF ANYONE is still having problem setting up / using this plug please feel free to PM me and we can discuss it over an IM as debugging the website is hard to do remotely.

Some things added that are not really shown in this photo;

1) All Tokens/Currency have mouse overs in case you are not familiar with the icons
2) Double Click Chat Bars to create new whisper
3) Mana/Power Bar Title and Color changes based on what your power is (ie, Mana & Blue, Energy & Yellow, Rage & Red,...)

Coming Changes
1) Progress Bars for Guild information
2) Popup for Events (Party Invites, Guild Invites) FOR ALL TOONS not just active (Will have a 10-30 second timer to auto decline / Possible Auto Whisper "Sorry Not Interested")
3) Reputation List / Change Current View.
4) Many more already incorporated in the new plugin (not release yet) but not implemented into the website yet.

i like the layout. i could integrate the functionality myself, as i did with 1.1.1 in no time .. but mine looks like shit.

& keep your work up.

and please stay as-is, and release the source, don't need another "foreign" hosted project, as there are ... and i don't trust them.

Not entirely true. My first version is fully functional however it has not been updated on the first post and I have not heard from Codebase in a while, I might reopen this project in a new thread once I am ready to release the new version. On one of my earlier posts I released a ZIP file with an automatic downloaded and installer, it is a very crude version and I have a new one ready to go with the new release. I have just got back from my vacation so you should see something this week I hope depends on what Work does to me when I go in today.

Please Verify that your PHP supports JSON, also please use this zip file to redownload all files (this script uses GIT and it must be installed on your server) if you do not have GIT you can download the files from my git server

Source is nice however... it required supporting many people who have no experience in web sites or C#. For now I will be releasing the source, however I will also later release a hosted version with modified sql calls so that they are not the same as the released versions. This then adds for easier to support for users who don't know how to use the manual version. It looks like I might also be removing the SQL Driver and sending all updates to a PHP site using JSON. If you are running more than 1 toon in high combat all of the health and power updates are causing the SQL driver to crash and honor buddy locks up. I experienced this in a 5 man dungeon with 3 on one computer.

i just mean: always offer the source for self hosting, don't make everyone dependant on your servers.

 

First thanks for this nice Plugin, but i have some issues:
The installtion was no problem, easy going. The DB connection works also fine, I'd host it on my private webspace at hosteurope. But some things don't work well.
The whisper only comes into the Webpage - in the windows app is no whisper shown, also not in the android app but in both of these apps I can post in the /s, so theres no problem with the connection.
Also in all of these apps there shows no loot, no achievments and no quests.
I use the german client, can these be the problem?

I can only support you on a few things here. If you run Android Web and Windows App all at the same time there will be tons of issues. The way the apps were made were to read from the db and delete the records so there are no reposts. I am trying to think of a new approach for this. As for Achievements and Quests I believe they are only supported on the web page currently. the Loot table is cleared every time you start HB so once you load up your toon you have to wait until he loots something. If this still does not work check the webpage. If it is still not working send me a PM we can have a chat and I can try and debug some of the problems.

On another note, Client version Eng German ... should have no affect.

First off, I love the plugin and the idea

I got it setup currently running the webserver and mysql database on my computer (Same one running the bot)

It is working and I can load the Watcher program and was able to view my characters chat via the Android app.

My question is in relation to the website, I tried placing the site in my web server directory and when I load it, I just get a page that looks like your forum post. I set the settings for my DB in the settings.php file but not sure what else is needed to have the site up and running.

I also tried uploading the site part to a webhost and get the same, you can see it here --- drewsarea.cu.cc

One other question on the program, is it possible to run the watcher windows program from another computer / network. I was hoping to be able to have my bot running at home and use the watcher program to keep track of it from my work PC.

i'm back again .
I started work again on the Plugin. I will Overview the Code and everything, we will start with WatchMyToon V2 with MOP

 

Cheer - that sounds great. Already talking a lot about this plugin with Cody.


Please be sure you starting recoding in case of different languages (UTF8 ).
There are some loot problems with German code base.

If you like to getting some support in this case - and if there is a public svn source to take care of some code lines, I like to jump into developing.

Looking forward to get such a nice tool working as a webpage to interact with some other players
