Like the title says, I see about 5-6 of my RID friends botting everyday. (Some since wotlk since I've asked them)

I have 3 accounts at the moment, my main, and 2 scroll accounts. I was thinknig of using one of my scroll accounts to bot.

I am curious on if I bot with my account (They are on different email address) will blizz ban my ip if that account gets banned? (I'm not worried if I lose account, I've spent 5$ total on it)

if your account bots, you'll get banned.
if your accounts doensn't bot, you'll not get banned.

blizzard does not ban ip based.

I've been lucky and not been banned since I have been running HB 2 years I think it is. Cause I have bought keys 2 times and second about to run up.

Do not have no imformation on the account linked.
Use different payment methods <~ Big one. Don't have same auto payment credit card on all accounts. Use time cards on bots.
Use different bnet, name, adress, phone, all that.

Don't run the exact same thing over and over. Like people that run uldum herb or mine only. Even though they may limit there run times to 2-6 hours a day. Your still spending every moment online farming only. Obvious. Try not to gear in full pvp gear. Spent a little time get some dungeon crap gear. Looks more realistic than a pvp botted gear toon.

I switch up my bot I will run say uldum mining + herb for 6-12 hours.. Take em offline about 6-8 hours. Then go fishing guppy in twilight highlands for 6-8 hours. Go hit some Vash herb + Mine, Hit some uldum fishing, Then run a pet grind profile. Just always mix it up. Thats my 2 cents and what's worked for me.

If you don't count on using the char for PvP aftewards, converting straight out all honor points to justice points to get PvE stuff is wiser.

Is this really necessary? since they will likely only ban the account who got got reported for botting as i've understood it you can have them under same battle-net, I recently bought a second account now that they are so cheap (5?) and attached it to my main battle-net account and i'm thinking to have it as bot account then use guild bank or whatever to give main account the gold, It should be pretty safe for my main account or am i wrong?

ye you are, your sending your main gold, that links it to your botting account wich makes it suspicious enough to investigate, or you do it via a gb so you can withdraw, no biggie then.

To bot or not to bot. That is the question.

Long time back before battle.net I had 2 accounts with every detail different. The only thing that was the same was that I had them both on auto payment from the same debit card. I used mmoglider on one account never on the other. Both accounts were closed for having same payment method. Lost my 4 lvl 60 toons with so much MC, aq raid gear.I called loads of times. They Told me consistent same payment. I argued that I paid for a family member though we didn't live together. Just they had no card and paid me as they could afford. No matter same pay ban stays on both.
