Well, how come it heals? Im RET ..so shouldnt he act like one? I mean heal others as a Ret is like yelling "HELLO I BOT LOOK AT ME I BOOOOOOT"

I hope this is a fail attempt at a troll post... The reason Retribution Paladins are so viable is that, besides the fact that they can push some decent damage, they "CAN" and "SHOULD" heal when they get down time or if their partner is in need of some life juice... WoG's alone can keep your partner or yourself alive in 2v2 and 3v3, now if you are rolling with a healer the usage of your heals will be diminished greatly but to say that if you heal you'll look bot-like is just plain stupid... I would suggest you read up on your class before you say absurd things such as the above.

 

i was talking about BG's - not Arena (which is ovious that i have to heal at times).
I really didnt want to troll - i am just seeking for a ret pally CC that will actually work and act like a Ret-Pally in BG. thats all - i might have missed something, and its also possible that i am stupid (usually im not ) - so please, it was a serious question.

 

Ask a Retribution Paladin not to heal is just like demand Shadow Priest not to Power Word: Shield or a Balance Druid not to use Lifebloom...

I'm sure all 1200 rated Retardin never heal in BG, but if you can heal WHY NOT?

By the way, you can disable all healing by setting Start Healing / Word of Glory / Lay on Hands in Healing group to 0 (Zero)

I would agree that in a BG the need to heal is low as most players only think of themselves in these PvP scinareos... But that is what sets apart a good player from the ones that are retarded and just want to top DPS. If you protecting a node with a Mage then it would be in both your favors to heal your partner of the time to better protect the node, and of course there are many other times when this is needed. I', not saying you need to get a spell sheild and spell one hander on large incomming attacks to better self heal as I do when I get pummeled by over geared or multiple mobs, but again that is what seperates the dead from the top dogs... If I need to, I can go into detail on any question you have if that will better your knowledge of the class, this CC is to aid as mine do, but you still have to know the class at it's base to make use of these CC's in their fullest.

 

All right, i try to explain a little bit more ...

I am playing a Paladin since it was available for Horde back when BC came out - i never played a holy Paladin, always RET or sometimes i had to tank ...i didnt like to tank but my guild made me tank...
I think i have more than just common knowledge about the class.

The point is; when i enter a BG (Warsong for example) and entering the Flagroom with a bunch of players - really NO ONE expect the ret paladin to heal, me sitting in front of the monitor the least^^ i was like WTF?! ...

But, i just changed the setting so it disables all heals. Its all good now.

 

If Im running at 48 MS, should I set the lag tolerance to that??

what happens if you try to use bg buddy with this cc? Will it work?

 

On its own no, as it does not control movement.

Alongside Phelon's PVP plugin it rocks in BGbuddy though!

 

I need to know how i can disable auto cast "seal of truth?" i use seal of insight but the addon automatically puts seal of truth back on. can i stop this? i did it for the Kings/might buff..

I never see why a Ret need a Seal of Insight in PvP.

Sometimes a good ret will stack 5 of the truth seal on target and switch seal to self heal or limit movement speed while the 5 stack of censure is up. Then switch back when he need to refresh the stack

Also sometimes start out in arena with insight on so it looks like your a holy pal to the opponent at a glance
