How to tighten up rend settings? A lot of times my barb is using rend on mobs from too far away and he only hits like one monster and waste his fury. He needs to be a little closer but I see no way to adjust this.
Noticed this as well. You can change it in the DemonBuddy\Routines\Belphegor\Routines\barbarian.cs file. Look for the rend cast in the PrioritySelector function and change the distance. I'm using 9 I think and it seems to be working well.
Cool, I will check it out. They probably tested this using the ravage rune which makes rend reach out farther. I use lacerate for more damage but you need to be closer.
Yes, that worked well. Now if it could be set to use rend only when there are 4-5 or more enemies in range it would be perfect. Right now, he uses it on single enemies wasting his fury when he should be using main attack for that. Maybe they could implement a slider like they have for the cooldowns on the next release.
You *could* add a check for this as well. Just look at one of the other calls in that function that use 'GetClusterCount' and I think you can figure it out. I'm generally so 'fury filled' that I can spam Rend non-stop, so never really had a need for this setting to be adjustable. If you do make a change here, you will probably want to 'or' the condition with a call to 'IsElite' to ensure it goes off when fighting elites, regardless of the number of them you are facing. I think Whirlwind has both checks if you want to look how it is handled.
Has the MIN/MAX distance bug been fixed for WDs? In rls 266 it was trying to use bears from 40yrds away. Or after a Molten elite dies, does it still sit on top of the molten bomb?
We actually used todo this, however rend is now so good we changed it too just a distance check to improve speed.
if you use cleave for your main, rend is kind of redundant for grey mobs. It would be nice if you could have a check box or something so that he would only use it on elites.
tested it for a bit today and to me it look like frenzy is slower compared to the last version , rend was working perfect <3
Works as is great for me - not complaining about it all. Just pointing out that he *could* change it to support what he was after. My only change request would be to allow the range that rend fires on to be adjustable (or just reduce the hard-coded value) for those not using Ravage - at least I think that is the one that boosts the range of Rend.
The healthglobe isnt working with WD's for seom reason. It just sits there and spams the primary spell and doesnt move even when im at 15% life and a health globe is 10 yards away. I have healthglobe pick up set to 35 as well.
This belph is too slow. Im using latest belphegor. I have rend timer on 2. But its not spamming it like crazy. It spams it vs single mobs, but when elites comes it doesnt spam it at all. I even turned off that aoe cluster. I dont care if it spams it because I have endless rage. I mean im never rage starved.Spam=2 seconds.
Not to keep beating a dead horse, but Belphegor still completely lags my (and many others') system when a handful of monsters get close. Target selection goes absolutely berserk and the framerate drop is tremendous. The more monsters there are, the worse the problem gets, to the point where if I'm in Fields of Slaughter my computer temporarily locks up. That PC is no slouch, either - it's a quad core with a Radeon 6870. Not new by any means, but more than adequate for high framerates in D3. By contrast, Giles' always runs smooth as butter, no matter how many monsters are on the screen. I actually prefer your routine, though, and I really wish you guys could iron out whatever is causing the performance drop-off.
Tested it today with a barb and that is my opinion: I'm playing my barb with "WotB" (Insanity), "Overpower"(Crushing Advance), "Rend"(Blood Lust), "War Cry"(Impunity), "Frenzy"(Sidearm) and "Revenge"(Provocation). I tried to tweak the settings for "Health Globe" and "Health Well", but it seems that the bot doesn't care about it. There are a few situations where the bot should run to a "Health Globe" even it is in a poool/desecration (fast in/out) for heal that he can survive. That doesn't really work well. Another problem is "Rend". I watched so many situations where the bot was surrounded by enemies but he doesn't use "Rend". He tried to break out, but he can't and died because he did nothing. Maybe there should be a timer for "Rend" like if the bot stands next to an enemy he always cast "Rend" on debuff-cooldown. "Overpower" and "Revenge" seems to be okay. No problems there. Another problem is that the bot does nothing if he can't move (like at "Waller"). Couldn't he check that for 1s and then keep fighting? After 10s he could check that again and so on... Oh and "Desecration" ... That is a really hard ability for barbs at the moment. It seems that the bot doesn't really work well there. He stands very often senseless in it. Is it possible to implement that if a pack got "jailer" and "desescration" that he just uses "WotB" and keep fighting? edit: Same for "Frozen". The bot is surrounded by enemies and tries to get away from the ice bombs, but he can't (stands exactly in the bomb range). At this situation he should keep fighting and if possible use "WotB". But he doesn't use "Rend" etc..
need some improvements on barbarian cleave speed.. attacks really slow and sometimes just stops and does nothing.. something wrong with targetting or something..
hum, I don't know if I am doing that right because I am not a programmer and I have very few clue about that CCs buuuuut: @..\Routines\Belphegor\Routines\Barbarian.cs Code: new SelfCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend, ctx => _rendTimer.IsFinished && ((DiaUnit)ctx).Distance <= 16f, s => _rendTimer.Reset()), That is the code for "Rend" under "public static Composite BarbarianCombat()" followed by the "PrioritySelector"? If I just put it right befor all others there it should be cast first and then on cooldown (done by the timer?). Oh and I just noticed a new situation with the health globes: My barb walked around and destroyed 2-3 enemies which dropped 2 health globes. After that he walked forward and there were two other mobs. He ran back and forward and didn't care about the mobs. At 70% HP he decided to take the health globes some yards away. Finally he defeated the two mobs like a baaad barb. :>
