[CIGGARC] Act 3 - Siegebreaker with Death Handling and Checkpoints

I'm guessing you're not using the most recent version of this profile and/or RadsProfileManager. It does not leave the game, instead it just goes back to the town and loops over the same paths infinitely.

 

A couple things to note for your benefit:

1) Radonic is not this profile's author; Gardettos is. While they're both part of the CIGGAR collaboration, Radonic cannot edit the main post or "bug fix" the profile for you. He merely chimed in to tell you how to fix it yourself. Also be advised that neither of them are DemonBuddy staff, and are instead community volunteers. As such, they are not held to some imaginary standard where they must be nice to the 500th person asking the same question that was already answered dozens of times in other places. Plus, he's Swedish, so what you perceive as condescension is often just a language barrier.

2) I'd ask for your money back. You will not be happy here. To get this bot to work reliably for you, you must do a significant amount of reading and possess minimal technical knowledge. If the instructions he provided for editing an XML file overwhelmed you, you will be utterly lost here.

3) For future reference, item looting and identification has nothing to do with profiles. That is strictly a loot rules thing and/or Giles' Stash plugin.

Lastly, the detailed instructions you requested - Edit Act3Elite3.xml, then replace the following line:

If I could reach through the computer and smack you I would. I know I'm talking to a child here, but I'll entertain you anyway. They might be community volunteers, but they still receive donations for their work. If you are going to put out a product, and it doesn't work, don't talk down to the consumer of your product when it's not working out of the box. His suggestion did not work.

Please child, did you even read the thread? Editing an XML file is not the issue here, the coding is. I'm not a programmer and most people here aren't. The code they wrote isn't working, the edits they suggested aren't working. Please, if you're so smart and possess this amazing technical knowledge, go ahead and fix it.

Actually it does, since it won't identify the items as an effect of the game continually looping due to the profile or Rads plugin.

Anyhow, I think you fundamentally misunderstand the term "donation;" it is not the same as "salary." You are not forced to donate to use their profiles, and thus they owe you nothing - not even courtesy. I understand your opinion on the matter, but I don't share it, and neither does reality.

Regarding #2, the code they wrote is functional. My bots have been running Act 2 and 3 without intervention for almost 24 hours now, as have dozens of other people's. As I implied, it can be tricky to get things to work for you with this bot, and it does require a sizable time investment and technical prowess. I would suggest deleting every plugin save RadsProfileManager and using Belphegor's combat routine. Perform the edits we gave you, delete your Compiled Assemblies folder, restart DemonBuddy, and manually select the first Act 3 profile again. Let me know how it goes.

You seem intelligent enough just from your grasp of the English language, and if you can edit XML files, then I retract my statement directing you to ask for your money back. It was not suggested in the disdainful manner with which you seem to have received it. On the contrary, I was simply cautioning that you would probably not enjoy this community or this bot, and you only have 7 days to ask for a refund.

That said, I still don't think you'll like it here. You are awfully touchy.

Blow it out your ass. Why don't you go post some more about how terrible this bot is and call everyone in the community who's trying to help a fanboy / brown noser, then turn around and beg for assistance from those same people?

Dookie just ignore nuke. Stop spamming this thread the both of you. Profile isn't 100% afk and that's why you have to do some tweaking. Download other profiles that use radonic's profile manager and compare how the coding ends and duplicate it towards this. It is what I did and it works so yeah

 

The ETA for the new A3 profile are tomorrow, so please wait abit for us to make everything ready.
AFTER the release we want stuck reports and if we have missed any champions/rares in a area.

I dont know if Heart of the Cursed and the other Heart lvl (cant remember the name) counts as static or random but those would be great extra areas to the profile

 

For what it's worth, the customer is NEVER right.

I'm now going to sit on my Rakkis Crossing part of our act 3 profile for a couple more days of 'bugtesting' - I hope you enjoy being the moron that delays our release of act 3 champ farming.

After reading a days worth of comments from people like you I no longer feel motivated to spend as much time writing stuff.

 

nuke .. it acutally works perfectly. u obviously cant follow simple instructions on how to get it working.

 

Nuke i bet i know what your problem is, #1 your using 2 different profiles and trying to combine them into 1. do not go blaming the makers of THIS profile, and here's a HINT If / IF / if / iF i'll leave it up to you to figure out the rest because of the way you are acting.
