Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy Banned on 2 accounts because I bough raf with gold. (traded 24k gold on each account, traded on one about 2 weeks ago and other about 1 week ago, both got banned within 1 min of each other) Will I be able to get unbanned? First time I got banned. Made tickets but waited almost 24 hours, slow response. Right now I just claimed I didnt do it. If it fails, should I make more deny it more or should I say I did it and that I am sorry and wont do it again etc?
The ban is not because you bought RaF through Gold, its an automative ban. Just open a ticket tell them you sent Gold to eachother account an they will be unbanned
why do you always assume its automated....other then banning on x reports made, automated, i think nothing is. people say : you get banned by sending mass emails : i did send 1000's of mails and now still send 100's of mails to alts back and forward. you get banned posting to many aucts : I have a steady 500 on several chars daily, underminejournal shows people sticking 1000+ a day for months. you get banned by sending gold to whomever : I send my bank char 1000's of gold every day from several chars, cause i dont sell on only one alone. 2 many of the same things posted in the ah : on a daily basis i sell 50-100 stacks of cloth / leather / essences and whatnot. so far theres no proof of something of being automated, unless you can come up with proof that they do have scripts running, i suggest you ssssssh . The only reason you get banned is botters know botters. And some people in wow, aint stupid, and with that i mean, the majority is when it comes to spotting bots. If i look at the ah it takes 10 secs to see whos botting and who not. They can report you. You farm and are to long in one place, people randomly whisper you in high populated farm areas, just to see if your there. If something is automated then it might, and i repeat, it might be the ban you get after reports. Lets say, x amount of people report you via the new feature, auto ban. Thats why some get banned for xploiting the economy while all they did was lvling etc. for the rest, im sure if blizzard put effort in it, they could ban honorbuddy all together, but since you are botting im sure you can spot the bots around you, and we are with far more then you xpct, farming bg ing ( infested ) and the raider next to you beatng you 10-fold on the healing or dps meter might be using a bot. Think of what profit blizz would lose if they ban all hb users instantly, how many income you think they would lose. Most wont even come back afterwards, since the only reason they play wow, is cause of this wonderfull bot is around Even a botter is a paying customer. To keep the non-botters happy, they deal with tickets, but in a far lesser rate then the tickets are made. Hell even when you try to report someone by the normal ticket system ( old way ) they tell you to use the new feature. Do you really think, believe or whatever, that a multi-million company like blizzard, cant detect a bot like hbif they wanted to. plz... 1 word... lol. I said it once before, but the legal case against the bot, imo... IMO <<--- KK , is nothing but a bubble of air to show the non botters they are fighting it. Cause they get annoyed aswell and might leave the game. The reason they changed the ticket system is just cause they can handle some thing automated like x reports, auto ban, no appeal... o look, we was right. Most of the time the email your getting has nothing to do with the reason you botted for, f.e bg-ing versus buying gold aka exploiting economy. Most of the time you apply, your account gets unbanned. some even think they do it cause blizz knows your botting but gives you another chance. lmao. OT : Dont make more saying you wont do it no more, thats admitting you botted <--- stupid. : You didnt get banned for trading gold. If you buy raf time for gold, and i did this for the first time to this month, you get banned cause you are not allowed to use raf time without recruiting someone and thats what they see. Thats the reason one of the sellers, and i payed 10 k for it, has this on his post : Recruit a Friend Gametime can be removed by Blizzard, as this service is against their Term of Use. Did you make a ticket while under RAF gametime? soz for the complete rant, you didnt have to read it, but when i see people talking about automated shit, it gives me an itchy typing finger. you really give blizzard to much credit.
You get banned when you don't show consistency. And yes, there are automated bans, do you really think blizzard has employee's sitting there just pressing ban buttons? I cannot count the number of times I've had an account closed or suspended, where Blizzard has actually apologized to me for the inconvenience.
hey Nice post webhond But i also think there are some auto bans. but not like a random number of auctions etc. They have stuff like that with IPs. When you use a very different IP you get an autoban, so even if ban is hardest thing, they still do it for such stuff. Like saving you against Hackers ;D maybe when different things come together there is one. But the bans are pretty random, I for instance bought that annual pass, and first though a lot of money pretty much bad invested, buat I literally can do all kind of shyat with it, no matter what they do not ban it. Imo there are different ranks of ban scripts, fresh accounts have traded 100kg with no bans but trade 400k on a fresh account and see what happens, older accounts cant even trade 5k without a ban. But I believe player reports is how you get your account flagged in the first place. I agree with this, just look how the prices sky rocket when bots go down, if they banned every botter they will only hurt themselves, so it makes sense that they will only ban you if you get reported alot or if your seriously harming the economy. Do you notice how you have to actually target the person or he has to talk before you can even use the report system? This cuts out a huge number of bogus tickets, when people could report someone even on a banned or inactive account. obviously if you get 1 report thats not going to do anything, im pretty sure you need quite a few.. just like the bg system works. and they better.. the near future of mmos = free to play.. its already begun for your linking yourself to chinese scammers that steal from blizzard to make gold but blizzard makes you pay the penalty with real money else a ban. back when i didnt bot, i got banned for trading gold.. im pretty sure it wasnt a manual ban because why would they unban me 20 times in a row for the same thing and im not exaggerating about that, i was banned on the same account 2-3 times a week for over 2 months str8 and all i was doing was fliping items. i was trading with maybe 10 accounts a day from 5-20k worth of items.. the day i spoke 1 word about selling gold was when they refused to unban me.
I know for a fact thatsome ban's are automated.. not going into it but yes there is such a thing as auto ban's Edit: I will say that I dont bot wow anymore profitability isnt there for me atm (blizzard loves me for some reason) and I can say i have had confirmation from blizzard that I had recived automatic ban's on a account and appoligized for the inconvience.
Well same thing haapen to me got 1 account same reason i tpld the guy lets do it from guild bank he insist to face to face in result i got ban and that guy i trade the gold to got baned too its because he was flaged as gold seller and also who deal with him gets bans too.... Anyway my account is changed from ban to locked weating for full restore
Hi, I'm not sure why I got banned for "hack" I just woke up and I saw my account was banned for "hacking" and I really have no idea how it happened? Is it possible for you to double check that this is even possible? because I really don't understand what kind of "hack" I could have possibly used... Unless its something like; when I lagg and jump into walls and structures (usually in arena) by accident, I would disconnect straight away. Is it possible that this ban was a mistake? because honestly I was not doing anything wrong. Would it be possible my account was compromised and used by someone else to produce this "hack" ?
