i had a new EULA pop up today stating it had changed and it was stating changes to do with 3rd party programs , monitoring your computers memory etc , are these scare tactics or does someone have any insight into the recent changes

It has always been there the program is called WARDEN It scans your RAM but only if your flagged (i think)

It's probably that Blizz lawsuit and now they have to say that they will be scanning RAM.

Not to worry WoW only writes to RAM if it is minimized ^_^

Why people start to scream and make dramas every time Blizz update their ToS and EULA. They have been updated lots of times already, each time with new content, and the same "3rd party programs , monitoring your computers memory etc" topics are alway present there since 5+ years.
You should realize finally, that ToS and EULA are nothing in therms of laws. You are not even aware of them to accept them, when you pay for the boxed WoW in the shop. No need to mention, they are not translated on some european languages, when selling here.
Blizz have no legal rights, neither they will break your privacy!

Its not that im starting to scream, its just nice to let people know whats going on in terms of blizzard , the new EULA says they can pretty much suspend , ban or even delete your account for no reason what so ever, ive never seen them on previous EULAs unless ive overlooked that section

This was always in the EULA and it's nothing to worry about.

      you make me lol.

seriously, are you so clueless, its theyre game, they make the rules.

And they have a legal stand when it comes to breaking theyre terms.

gtfo man with shit like this.

And fot the OT: scanning memory and processes, even outside the "wow range" was always possible.

I even linked pieces of of theyre anti - cheat agreement, and still people are to thick headed to see that they can do it.

You agree to theyre fucking terms, so if it says inthere, they can monitor the kind of porn your watching, they are allowed to!

If you dont agree in them doing so, you dont accept the agreement, therefor not play the game !

Start the bitching allr, since you all think, they cant do this. Well, 1+1=2 not 3, and yes. You are Wrong!

Absolutely WRONG, if it stood in their therms that u have to kill someone ... this would make the kill legal? i don't think so ;)
Same with your example of monitoring the kind of porn i'm watching, it doesn't interests me, but they aren't allowed ;)

there not allowed to scan anything, even something as simple as ram, that would break the privacy act, there not allowed to do that, well they could but they would be breaking the law.

      "Consent to Monitor.

When I see people posting comments about stuff that they know nothing about I have to take some action.
Now listen up everyone: Blizzard, like every other company, has some rules. These rules are "the rules" inside the game. But when you go outside their program it is worth NOTHING. If Blizzard acces your pc without your blessing they brake the LAW.

They just can do it within the laws. That's why it can be blocked very easily. Try Google and you find many programs. They can just scan their own thing nothing else, like Warden.
