Would it be possible to make HB know wich bases belong to his team, so the bot would only run to these bases and defend? I would love to see my bot defending instead of running around and dying because he runs into a bunch of enemys alone. + I'm always getting more honor when i defend instead of running around trying to capture bases with the team. (I nearly never use hb for botting (except AV).Just looks too botish in my opinion :/ ) I think SotA is supported (never tried it myself), so there must be a way to detect if the gates are open or not. So maybe something similar for AB would be possible? (sorry for crappy english)
Hey CodenameG, that's cool news, thanks. I tried to work on a plugin that would do this a couple weeks ago but I lost the fight. I was trying to use the LUA functions to determine flag texture, but could never get anything back. I enjoy working on stuff like this on my own, so I'm wondering if you would be so kind as to post a snippet of code that is able to check flag status so I could get rolling again. Either way, thanks.
yeah i wish you could actually do the bg's like sit at flag till its captured, defend as you say, and move on to other flags, or go grab the flag in wsg, or eye of the storm and run it back. i see alot more coding for this tho and alot more bugs to work out.. atm i dont see this happening till they get a viable stable version
Awesome. It seems to have logic to go after nodes that are about to be capped, which is good. It would be amazingly awesome if the bot would guard nodes, and when attacked, have it say in /bg Inc LM or something.... then the BGs would LOVE u... but im not holding my breath. About the most I could ask would be if the bot was near a node, and not in combat, to attempt to cap the node. Ive sometimes stopped the bot as it ran past a node, and ninja capped stuff, all the time, and its helped to win games.
