safe amounts to sell in AH?

what is a safe amount of stacks to sell in the AH? (im selling ore)

 

I usually post 10 stacks maximum of an item when I farm money, to make sure that I'm not flooding anything.

 

a day? (to short)

 

Once all my stacks of lets say Saronite ore is sold, I put out 10 new stacks. But meanwhile I store everything in a bank.

I have a private buyer that i sell all my Saronite to
but the left over Titanium and herbs i put on ah
I turn the Titanium into Titansteel
and herbs i put 15 stacks at a time

 

I normally puts 15 stacks, no matter which item we are talking about.

 

I put up everything I've got...no limits.

Everything raw mats except on my horde side I covert all herbs to darkmoon cards since no one buys cheap herbs.

 

I also flood it. At least 200 stacks a day for months now.

 

Not more than 30 usually but never more than 50

 

This is what I always set my limit too. After a few months, still no bans.

 

Depends on item and time of day for me... Sometimes when AH camping 10 works for me but on average when I get into a bidding war or late at night I will post up 20+ sometimes as much as 30 stacks to prove a point.

But I also bulk sale to private buyers in addition... total daily AH movements = over 250 per account.

 

I sell 65-75% of my saronite as it is to people outside of AH (not private buys, but I advertise in trade). The rest goes into gems to craft into rings etc to DE and then sell the dust on the AH. Titanium gets prospected into powders and epic gems, buy cuts with powder and sell the epic cuts on the AH. Wednesdays are my favourite days - last wednesday I checked my mailbox in the evening to see 5k sitting there waiting to be taken out

Lichbloom & Icethorn = 30 stacks / toon

 

The only time I flood a market (more than 20 stacks of the same item) is when I have too much competition, that keeps undercutting me by significant amounts of gold. Then i'll undercut them by like 10% and just bomb the market, usually within a week or two people back off on farming it and I can just buy out the few stragglers. This is really only a problem saronite for the most part though, a weeks worth of selling 20 bars at vendor price gets people to back off.

me too, have 3 farm chars filling up my guild bank every day.

Putting:

- 1000 - 1500 Adder's Tongue/ Goldclover into the AH every day...in the morning and evening. Eternal Life between 50 - 100 a day, same with Frost Lotus.

Been doing this for more than a half a year now and never got any whispers / tickets / bans or anything.

 

Tried to do the 20 stacks max mode too, just didn't do it for me. I only have a single farmer but my guild bank ran full in about a week and I have bought all tabs. Now I am just spamming it and trying to find a private buyer.

 

That was exactly what my problem was. Then I just got tired of having to tinker with the AH all the time. So much easier to do one fast scan in Auctioneer and then use the Appraiser tab to auto-post everything with under cut prices of exactly 1c below the lowest price. Come back a day later and have like 2500-3000 gold waiting for me for every 8-10 hours I botted.
