[A2 - Normal] Leoric's Signet Farming w/ 5 NV Stacks

I'm also being very unlucky and havent gotten the ring these past 2 or 3 days

Oh well i got 2 accounts farming this now so highly possible ill get it soon or later haha

 

So Ive collected literally hundreds of lvl 13 rings. Numerous legendaries as well. No Signet though. Has anyone gotten one?

 

Left it running last night. I'm a proud new owner of a signet. Yay. That was frustrating!

I'll give as many details as possible.

Used monk char. 300%MF. Using the profile version where he explores the sewers. [A2 - Normal] Leoric's Grinder 1.2 Q4.1.zip

Added as much % movement speed possible.

Loot radius was 100. Kill was 50
5 games an hour. No gold looting to save time.

Used Giles new Trinity loot system.

I've tried this before without the NV stacks, seeing you could get more snakes, but no results.

My idea with using monk was tempest rush with this build Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III

Monk doesn't yet use tempest rush to get around quickly like demon hunter does with vault. So I substituted the mantra with the evasion (movement speed rune).

This run would reap better results with that speed. Maybe if enough ask Giles nicely he'll put it optional on monk.

I was skeptical about finding this ring from the beginning. I'll post if I get another to confirm it wasn't just a fluke.

hey guys, i'm currently using the 1.2 version on my barb, and its stopping at a certain spot, right after destroying the demon summoners, it says at the bottom of DB,

and my current position is

trying to move the character doesnt do anything because he's always going at that exact spot

Any way to make the profile ignore belialvoiceover ?

EDIT: Nevermind, i just fixed my problem, i added the mob id (114527) to the blacklist of the gilles trinity plug in. Now it works flawlessly

 

I've been using 1.0 and i've gotten 2 rings over 3-4 days. Basically 25 mill per day in profit. Hopefully that keeps up.
Using a barb, high crit weapon throwing spec lol saves him running off course so much all the time so the games aren't that long.

Question, are you guys using followers with MF gear?

Do i need to setup giles in any specific way to loot that ring? or should i use defaults?

 

To answer two questions. I'm not using a follower. 300% all on my monk.

As for picking up the ring, Giles should be good to go on default.

I would turn off avoidance on Giles if you're high level running in normal. Those wasp/bees can make my char. run around wasting time.

Since I posted finding a ring, I haven't found another. Been running it since then with a couple hours break here and there. If it's a ratio of one ring per 2 to 3 days with one account, then I think people would have a better understanding if it's worth their time farming this.

I'm running it with my barb (300 mf unbuffed).

Seems like i'm getting stuck for 1-2mins at the round place in City of caldeum with the four totems or whatever they are called, then it keeps on running again.

Also even if i start the profile on the START HERE file, after the bot is done with that run it starts a new game and it skips the first part and goes straight to the Talk to Asheara part.

Any1 with the same issues? I'm using Gilestrinity 1.3.1, Radsprofile manager (default settings) and a fresh DB.

A couple of possible fixes for the profile not starting with the 1st START HERE one.

Check if you have the newest Radsprofile manager.

I've been using the following plug-ins: Unstucker, Radsprofile manager beta, Giles Trinity 1.3, NotificationOK click

Make sure the proper plug-ins are checked. Restart DB , check if plug-ins are still checked.

Load the profile START HERE before selecting your combat routine.

I remember having to update the Radsprofile. My best guess is with that.


My games per hour jump from 4 to 8. I'll assume a healthy medium is 6 or 5 games.

Lastly, my char. does seem to mill around the construct area with the snakes. I figure it's not too bad, seeing it is a big area where loot might be missed.
