Farming Cydaea and Azmodan on Inferno (Q7.2 - The Second Heart)

Hi! To keep it short, I'm no longer actively updating this thread. I wanted to share my profiles of the towers & Cydaea back when noone else had shared them here. CIGGARC now includes all of that, and provide pretty good support, so those are probably preferable for some of you. I'm going to leave this up and from time to time I'll post an updated version of the profiles i use. Hopefully some of you will be able to fix whatever problems you run into on your own or be able to make use of some parts that i've put out to make your own versions.

Cydaea & Azmodan 2.1 - Zerg it
Since people have been having problems after the recent Demonbuddy updates this is the current profiles i've been running without problems with Demonbuddy .250

You have to download the AlternateRouteAfterDeath plugin below if you want to run this.

The profile order is the same as the Towers First compilation. On certain maps there are shortcuts mapped out should you die after having cleared parts of the map. I have run this for countless hours and not noticed any problems, but i also have not been sitting and watching the bots

update: nav server seems to be fucking up on battlefields and rakkis tonight. ran fine earlier today, will look at it tomorrow.




Cydaea & Azmodan 1.2.2 - Towers First

Pathprecision removed on points before portals. Should hopefully fix any problems caused by the recent DB updates.

Profiles reordered so that it starts with towers and already has max NV when doing the longer maps with more thrash mobs. Potential stuck fixed in tower of the cursed second level.

I have implemented a very crude method of avoiding running the entire battlefields or fields of slaughter again when dying after already having completed more than half.


I am leaving the previous version up since it has been more thoroughly tested at this point, and some people might prefer doing the parts in the old order.

Nice clean profile, leaves the game much nicer than the champion farm one at Azmodan, but not long enough, can only manage 4 stacks by the time I hit the end
Think I might merge them together and see how that goes.

How can u merge the profiles with RadsProfileManager?

 

I did just edit the nextprofile in the last profile you want to use from the champion farming and then setting the next one to be the first from this pack.

Seems to work okay but only tested it once.

As i recognize the problem it's a about adding 1 more point))
1 more qustion)) Isn't Cydea already dead when u are starting game from Azmodan's kill quest Q7.3?

 

The game should start from Q7.2.

 

I always hit 5 stacks well before Cydaea, are you loading tower of the cursed first and not tower of the damned?

You also need to edit GameParams of the champion hunting profiles so that it starts at quest 7.2 and not 7.3 or Cydaea will already be dead.

Profile works fine only a minor problem with azmodan if you play CM wizard and that's that the last move to point at azmodan is to far away from azmodan to effectivly trigger CM to tank azmodan.

 

Poweredby can u merge the Champion hunting profiles with your's profiles?! If that is possible we will have the best long profile! Hope is it possible to do

 

I will be trying this tomorrow for sure. Lots of good packs in there. It would be sweet to have the profiles merged...

 

Dude merge it yourself iinstead of asking him to spoonfeed you.

It took me 2 minutes to merge this profile and champion farming profiles

 

After killing Cydea,
bot won't attack Heart of Sin, just stand near by it,
Do you know why?

Using a Barb with GilesTrinity plugin it kills the heart fine.

Great work. Nice to get the extra boss kill in.

This works great, I am not strong enough to farm Azmodan yet. How do I disable the final battle with Azmodan? Thank you
