main may have a fix for the generate hotspot issue... i'll get a build in the morning and thoroughly test it

the wowclass.classnamehere error looks fine, it may be a packing issue (will be looked at tomorrow)

I personally keep Kicks profiles outside of my HB folder (so that I can delete HB when needed and reinstall/etc), I just copy the profile I wish to use into the "Default Profiles" folder inside HB and load it from there. This also allows me to edit the "IgnoreCheckPoints="False" thing for the intended profile without having to go back and change it later (or refresh from SVN).

My personal preference though, I'm sure there are better ways of doing it.

 

im using profile [A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick], it picks up the quests and when it goes to return them it stays opening and closing the quest turn in with the npc, it never turns them in so i have to stop the bot and turn it in manually, really annoying since i have to do this every time he goes to turn in a quest an it gets a lot of "Could not generate any hotspots for quest Feast or Famine. Please place a quest override for this quest." any solutions to both of this problems?

Just wanted to inform you, That there is a quest in Dustwallow Marsh, entitled The Theramore Docks. The item in the quest objectives state you need to pick up, is un-clickable.

It might be a stupit question, but how do i fix this bug:
When I start the bot it picks up the quests as it is supposed to, but when it start doing the first quest it says: "Could not generate any hotspots for quest Need an Engine, Take an Engine. Please place a quest override for this quest."
When I try to generate a hotspot for the quest it doesn't change anything :S
It's on a lvl 77 Priest!
Can you please help me ?

We've pushed a couple of updates to the bot
using Styx.Combat.CombatRoutine;

was removed (from cc's and such)

we broke questing for collectitem (sorry) but we added more logging to the errors (woot!). So this should let us fix questing faster

Kickazz006 I found an error on an alliance quest in HP. "Ravager Egg Roundup" after accepting that it keeps trying to accept "Helboar, the Other White Meat" before finishing the first one. I tried to fix it myself, no luck though. Maybe a hot fix? Let me know! Thanks!

Kick, can you simple add a plugin to add the bot loots objects? Most low level quests requires this.

If you can add this simple behavior, we will be able to run 70% more quests now.

And I don't think it is a hard task.

 

Sup guys.. So i bought HB yesterday, talk about a bad time getting into the whole thing. Anyways used a lot of hours getting into the whole thing, to my dissapointment that the questing didnt work, am currently lvling a horde shammy up. Or at least tried to - didn't work. Then i used a little more time, and tried shit. Somehow i got it to work with singular and your profiles, was so happy.. finally i could make a jay and play at the same time, and just enjoy shit.. ^^ it lvled fine from 22 to 24 when it came to the place where Black fathom depts are, theres a quest which requires you go down the cave and collect 20 pieces of some crystal shit froms walls in cave, right before entrance to dung. as it picked the quest up the first stop began. it wouldn't move and said something about some bitch named >Could not create current in quest bot; exception was thrown <. anyways, tried again, nothing happened. then i decide to go manually down in cave and do the quest. when i came back and started HB again it just paced back and forth and spammed the Npc trying to find the quest even though i just had completed it. I tried manually go in and delete the npc and quest chain but i dont know how, now it doesnt work -.- dont know how to post log but this fucker right here is the problem. very much appreciate the effort and doing the whole thing.

You should try and post logs on Kicks support thread. I'm pretty sure this isn't it. With that said unfortunately you got the bot in a transitional stage.... from working smooth to requiring a lot of work to get it back in working order for the expansion changes. If you stay patient your going to be pleasantly surprised by what this thing can do for you to enhance your experience.

 

Where can u see your logs? and is it hard to learn to change the xml files yourself, in case of something similar happens again - it would be nice to have the option to, if not to difficult. Somebody posted log and had issues on quest and another guy rewrote it for him.

but yea i figured it was due to MoP expansion, and after this litte preview i got of the questing bot i am sure it will satisfy my needs. thnx for your time

 

I am still developing Jade Forest, hopefully i'll have it done today or tomorrow.

MaiN and the other devs are still looking into questing issues. Sunday is usually their /chillax day.
