Has anyone actually watched their toon in a bg? 2/3rds of the BG team are bots. It's insane, they all take the same paths they all ride the same mount they do everything exactly the same. I just started the BG bot to try and level my priest and when the BG had started I noticed at least 8-10 Bots in the same standing position everything, going to the same bases etc. After Seeing this i Just closed HB because I am not taking the risk of getting banned because of how many botters are in 1 battleground it is just absurd. What I am asking is if the people who are using this will monitor their bots. If there is more then 4/5 bots in the BG play legit - You'll have less chance of being reported and banned this way. Well - the opposite team has the exact same problem - think about it. Monitoring your bot wont help since you can hardly change what the bot is doing but i agree, there is a huge need for diffrent profiles and a lot more randomisation in terms of paths and actions. I have yet to learn how these profiles work to create my own - because atm i can exactly tell who is bot and who is not, it is really easy for everyone.
your right .. ATM there are realy a fuck loads of BGbuddys. but i must say since then i found 4ppl botting on my realm from wich i thought they never even heard about bot?s and IF naja they never used since they are in big&good guilds and dont wanna loose there acc (even some guildmasters).. i had to lough after i saw that in alterac valley about 25ppl are following me (im pala so i got 15%faster running) and 100% of the time copying my movements etc.. in warsong gluch was it even more funny since there are just 10 ppl... btw and im still not plying 1 klick myself... (i cant since im normaly raiding or something on my Front WoW
So you would rather receive a ban because of the stupid number of bots doing the exact same thing then actually putting a little bit of time into the game? That imho is a waste of cash and time. But fair enough if thats what you decide to do then go for it.
If people are botting in obvious ways, ban them. I'm not botting for honor nor on my main account. I'm getting free accounts and free game time for botting Diablo 3. A ban on one of my SoR accounts wouldn't hurt to much. 30 minutes and I'm up and running again.
imho there are many kiind of botters. and botting isnt equal to botting. 1. there are those, who have 1 account, and love their account. they scare to bot, but they still do, cos they want to have something (honor, gold, whatever) what they wouldn't get without the bot. these botters monitor their accounts, while they bot. --- let me tell you, you will loose your beloved account. monitoring or not. it is just a question of time. sometimes days, sometimes years. 2. there are those, who have a main account, go raiding, maybe progress, and use another account to gring gold, or whatever for their raids. smart people. use the bot in a good way. dont risk a ban on main, but still have enough gold/mats without spending much time. 3. and there are also multibotters. in fact... i dont care if an account gets banned. i pay 30k gold for 1 account right now. i quest 1 toon to 85, make bg's to get some equip, and gather gather, gather. 24/7. in 24 hours i gather a minimum of 8k (most times more). so after 4 days the account is payed, and the first gold is ready to be sold. if the account gets banned on day 5, who cares. he gave some rlmoney already. so why should i waste my time checking the bot in bg's. it gets banned, there is a new one waiting already.
It's not the fact that there are tomany botters. It's the fact that it isnt random enough. And if they put in the stuff from ultimate pvp suite... Then thats one step. But still not all the way there. And then they need to add some more randy spots and paths. And we would be set. But until then. I just don't pvp. I bot on my main account. But I only do stuff I trust. And never really go AFK just play other games and watch movies. And I also bot on my botting account. The stuff I wont do on my main I will do on my botting account, since I don't care if I get banned. I make tons of gold by filtering it to my main for all my crafting.
hmmm on my botting account ill just let him play ofc, atm i try sometimes botting on my main account a bit to lvl my 75 warri or m1 of my other toons.. but it seems that he got more problems with low lvl BG?s as with 85... atm im again in the top5 of BG players.
I think its fun to go in every now and then and just rape bots for a Bg, so I don't see a problem with it
I dont care about my acc so i bot without monitoring , it wouldn't take too long to bot it back to its current state, but i still try to bot as normal looking as possible. The bot trains just look funny and people are used to them so i dont think they give a single f, only those who feels they need to be the police of BGs.
I don't give a damn about it...i just bot cause i enjoy it...my dk manage to get top 5 kills in BGs my shaman able to TOP heals in BG...so whats the problem???
I bot on my main account 24/7 Except patch Tuesdays of course, and I have been botting since BC non stop. No bans, No appeals. No problems. Perhaps I'm just lucky. And I've made a ton of gold, sold a lot of gold, and farmed a ton of honor, and did a lot of grinding, questing, archaeology, fishing etc. A lot of my friends know I bot, my guild knows, and some players know. I did let my DK bot last night in a bg all night long, even before going to bed I checked to make sure everything was going to run smoothly, There were about 5 other botters following the same general path, but my DK was surely tearing up that bg. 2 deaths to 38 killing blows in EOTS @ lvl 64. Thanks to the devs with Singular for making that possible. I would like more random paths but hell, if you are botting and running around by yourself, you are going to die a ton of times. If you bot, don't be scared to be banned. Always know it will happen; like aforementioned earlier though, I've been quite lucky. And I haven't figured out the reason for this thread :O You want everyone else to stop bgbuddy so you can, and not be "noticed?" 1 bot is still noticeable. Just hope for the best. I've spent the last 4 days pvping strait, with about a 7 hour break in the morning. (Like I turn it off around 3am) I have noticed the in bgs the ppl who all are botting, it would be nice if we could make a few new paths or something with this bot so its not always doing the same thing. However I' am there 70% of the time I bot talking to ppl, typing in bg chat, messaging people and the occasional jump and stuff. Ive never been banned and have used bgbuddy a lot lately with the fact that quest arent fixed yet (as of the 15th I do not know if they have fixed them yet) Imo tho.. questing is the safest way to bot.
