Just got banned about 30 mins ago

I just got banned about 30 mins ago as well as someone els in my house using Honorbuddy as well

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:Rogue CLU

5)What plugins are you using?:None

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:8 hours or so

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 90% of the time i kept it up on my second monitor

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:Made about 50 auctions today

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?Nope

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?Nope

10)EU or US realm? US

Was banned for abuse of economy about 30 mins ago and so was another family member in the household as well but was not even botting on his account at the time either. We are both appealing it playing stupid hopefully we will get the accounts back.

 

it's really sad to hear that but US getting banhammer first then EU =/

 

This scares me, good thing I use the herbs myself... And not to sell (I've got over 2 GB's full of herbs & ores) ;o

 

I had 3 temp bans and 1 perma ban. Meh. Ill let them idle and work with some other toons. MOP is almost here, they are putting more focus on US now

And i was not selling nor would i ever buy gold from farmers so idk what the ban was for? unless it was really a ban for botting but they are telling me it was for abuse of economy?
US botters hang low for a while GM's/blizzard is watching us!

 

If I was you, I'd call and ask for a specific reason, (So you know what NOT to do next time) but that's just me.

 

Thats the thing i did and all he told me was how to make a ticket to appeal it they dont handle bans and wont talk about bans over the phone they refuse to atleast the guy i got on the phone did.

 

do u use an authenticator, maybe your account was hacked and the hacker used it so sell gold, promote gold selling or some such? just checking this to make sure its truly a banhammer

 

Yes i did but i removed it as soon as i got banned so i could play it off as tho i got hacked

 

Ban Hammer, There is no ban hammer coming....stop talking crap kid and you prob got banned due to farming in Uldarm like another 100 bots/people are atm, They report you due to stealing mines

 

I dont think it is a ban hammer, but they are watching us i believe just dont bot 24/7 you should be fine and dont bot in high pop area's thats all play it safe dont be reckless.

 

not only that but its a public profile, so no way to say exactly how many people on different servers, Hell maybe even a few on his server running the exact same profile, in a high populated area, there's no question as to why he got banned, it was only a matter of time till when.

 

they can probably see exactly when u removed it so that might not help much. good luck to you man. bans suck

 

I could understand my ban but the other family member in my house was mining low level stuff nowhere near Uldum so idk how he got banned either?

 

Correct Codename but dont forget that most bans are due to reports from other players, I would guess over 80% are due to other people reporting us, I have never been banned but I have never used a outside world farming profile, Never used Gather Buddy

Made my own instance profiles and thats great gold making

 

and i made my own GB2 profiles and only use them for a max of a day or two before ditching them to make new ones, its all about patterns and hotspots, a lot of stuff that can get you caught can be easily avoided, it all comes down to how much work you wanna put into it. the more work you put in, the better off your going to be in the long run.

 

got perma ban 1 from 8 account, penalty is for hack .... im lvl 64, last trading gold 12 hour ago, running 24/7, no AH, US realm, no cheat, and ....
why only one from eight ? im kinda happy, but this ban method make me confuse

 

might be a crz thing, just got implemented not too long a go for my realm and all of a sudden you see a fleet of bots using the same profile flying around like flock of geese, not too hard to spot if that is the case, was definitely noticeable when I was leveling an alt in lower levels.

 

Judging by what you have said, I think you will get your account back, open a ticket tell them that I wish to appeal this case of the closure of my account due to the reason my account has not been compromised and I do not sell gold, the only thing I can think of is I have listed 50 items per day on AH and as far to my knowledge that is aloud to sell items on the AH is that not what it is for? I am a big fan and will be such a shame to leave, I feel I have done nothing against the policies as I strongly agree with them, please reopen my account, say something like that and you should get it back. Please keep us updated to see how you go because I to have been spamming AH with items, making enough gold ready for MoP. I would say some one got annoyed with all your listings on AH and just reported you, so they could list there items up, good luck
