I've been leveling a pally on a new account with the sole purpose of farming. Herbalism & Mining. He's just dinged 65 with a little over 300 in each skill. I've leveled the skills mostly via HB. So... This morning I wake up and decide to put him to work in Outland. Turned him on around 6am this morning and after showering found he already had 4-5 stacks of fel iron. Off to work. So I remote in (teamviewer ftw) and check him out. He's not mined anything in 2+ hours. WTF. There is no one in /who no chat, no nodes, no mobs. I try and hearth and he just stands there waving his arms, never completing the hearth. I log out and then try to log back in, only to see the servers are down for maintenance. Has anyone else ever had this happen?
Sounds like either you caught it right when the servers were going down or your client didn't fully disconnect. The arms waving around was probably because you were getting no response from the server. Probably just hadn't timed out quite yet.
Happened to me a few days ago. I logged in my pally when I left work, and when I got him I dc'd him by logging on at home (and proceeded to raid on him). When I came to work in the morning, I turned on the monitor and the same pally was on his flying mount, flying around Northrend (leading me go to wtf?). He had been flying the loop for like 14 hours, completely disconnected from the server. I laughed. Naturally he didn't mind or fight or talk or even dismount, since he was essentially flying around an empty map.
Way off topic, But how do you do the blow job image in the game. Haha i remember, In another post. That someone said you can do it with two characters in game. Haha
