[HB2] Stormpeaks FrostFloe Deep (Eternal Fire+greenies farm) [Horde]+[Alliance]

This is my first contribute using Honorbuddy, if you experience any problem, please be kind and say what the problem is and dont flame.

First of all, this is for Honorbuddy, do not try this with Gatherbuddy since it will err this

The farm place is in the cave "Frostfloe deep" found in northeast Stormpeaks (see pic) and it will farm crystallized fire for you (and ALOT of green items).

1. Alliance+Horde version

Repairing and vendoring is supported. Mailing, not yet. Takes place in Brunhildar village. To get this running poperly, turn OFF mailing functions inside HB (clear the textbox in the "bot settings" that you find in the Status tab once HB is started.
To get out the most of this profile as alliance, i highly recomend you to premail all class specified items and turn all your offgear to the bank, get as many bagspots as possible since (once again) the bot wont mail for you.
You also need rep with the sons of hodir to get ridd of the giant elites patroling the area e toon have to run through to reach the vendor.

Do I need any addons for this profile to work better?

• Lootfilter(wow addon)or similar wont be needed since the character moves to vendor and will empty the bags for you, and saving the most common items that you want to save class specified items (like Rune of portals), miningpick, enchantingrods, herbs, you name it.
• TidyBags(HB addon) It's a plugin that converts your crystallized fire to eternal fire. Thanks to Gilderoy for this awesome add. Add found HERE

Char & Gear Requirements
This profile will work with any toon with decent gear. The mobs have (around)12175 hp so they dies fast. Why you need some gear is basicly because of the respawn timer these mobs have. You'll most likley not have more than 10seconds before you automaticly bodypull a mob. What I want to say, greengeared mage with 14k hp and goes oom after 2 mobs will spend 75% of the time waiting for ress timer.
Bring some food for the classes that cannot heal could be an idea.
I've tested with pulldistance 10 and it works gr8. Also tested with pulldistance 30, works even better! Hb handles the LoS well and will open on the mob without any problem(tested with DK)

Leveling with this profile
The horde versions is also tested as a level profile for a 76 Deathknight. It took me from 76 to 80 in about 3days (did not bot 24/7) with about 160-200k XP/h depending on level and "luck" of getting 1or2 adds. Anyhow, from 76 it the profile gave me about 1900gold in just vendor everything except eternal fire, and I can estimate it farmed about 350 eternal fire for me, which goes for about 23g/ea on my server, a 7000gold eternal profit(counted on 20g/ea). Pretty decent to get 9000gold 76-80
But... I've no flyingmount...
I remember that I've said that it's hard/impossible to reach this area without flyingmount. that's wrong. It can be reached by walk/run with ground mount. Run to the argent tournament and then head east to stormpeaks and you might find the way

Thanks for this spot and the profile. This is the most LOLBOT spot i've ever seen. There are 3 other people pretty obviously botting here on my server... I was nervous about running HB here until I realized they were bots . Anyway, still making good cash! ~10 eternal fire an hour even with lots of other people here.

 

This is basically why I didn't use this profile. When I went to check out this place there were 4 other people there..

 

I ran this profile while I was taking a swim, I came back a few hours later and just saw the toon selling. I stopped the bot and checked the bag. EMPTY! I was like "OMG" and was going to nerdrage on the forum, untill I saw

"Phew" It was all send to my bank
In arround 3 hours I got 20+ greenies, 200-300g for greys and 31x Eternal Fire worth 500g. Really great profile.
I ran it on my fury warrior btw.

 

If my char hits 77 with the current profile will this maybe be a good one to continue to 80?

 

Glad it turned out to be OK afterall, went a bit scared when I read the first two lines you wrote

Would say depends on your class and perhaps specc. Would recomend try it anyway since it might work gr8 but probably will be hard since mobs spawns insanly fast. Bring alot of food and water and you could be Ok

 

Adding in repairs would be awesome cause the bot gets stuck when my character needs repairs. He simply runs to the vendor and keeps trying to repair..

I tried this profile and it works great, but i do hawe a problem!Ewery time i get a grey item it goes back to sell that ONE item. After the sell it goes back and gets hopefully eternals, but if it gets another grey it goes back again to sell that one item:s. Pls help me . Im doing anything wrong ? ty for great profile. x

 

Strange. Are you using V1.3? I just started V1.3 and it has picked up multiple grey items and havent run for vendoring.
Post your log and I might found something out of it.

how do u get the bot to mail all item drops to an alt instead of vendoring them? cheers

 

This is a great profile, though I just noticed something weird when I was watching it bot.

When I have different types of crystals in my bag it will act like they are the same type and use them to make an eternal. I'm not sure if this is a HB issue or a profile issue, but thought I would just point it out.

When you've opened HB and you're logged in you'll press "Bot settings" and Write the name of your alt in the textfield next to "mail recipient" and then click "Save and Close".
Now you're good to go. The profile will vendoring all grey items, and mail the rest to your alt (white, green, blue, purple). Class specified items will be kept in bags.

If you want to mail grey items aswell you can change the following line in Frostfloe1.3.xml (open with notepad or similar)

<SellGrey>True</SellGrey>
to
<SellGrey>False</SellGrey>
And add the following line:
<MailGrey>True</MailGrey> where you find similar lines (allmost @ the top)

 

Other than the bot not handling the LoS very well and pathing into a wall until HB kicks in to move to next target, the farmer works great!

 

what's really wrong with the los? I dont know why or how you can experience los problem since HB walks to the mob as it should? and if you're caster it'll open a clear path before it start to cast?

Tell me your class, cc, specc, pulldistance and it will be a better comment than "not handling well".

Im a nub but basically if its not a neutral vendor then you need to change the vend location to an ally vendor of your choice.
