I figured I would share one little tip I have been using for the past 4 months when I sell gold. I don't use gbanks. I have my botters mail there herbs/ore to my AH account (same account for multiple servers too). I post items from mail onto the AH. When I am ready to sell gold I create my vanilla (new Wow account). I run to Stormwind and meet up with my AH char. I take off my vanilla account toon's clothes. I trade the clothes in 1-5 trades with my AH account. My AH account trades no more than 25k per trade with my Vanilla account. After the trades are done I immediately delete the clothing items that my AH account received from the vanilla account. I then proceed to logout on my AH account. Then depending on who I am selling too I either make the gold trade face to face or by gbank deposit to my buyer. I prefer this method opposed to having a gbank on my AH char. The main reason is because there is no gbank log left of a vanilla toon removing gold from your gbank and then taking the exact same amount of gold and putting it in someone else's gbank. I had suffered several bans on botting accounts when I stored my items/gold in a gbank. I switched to this method 4 months ago. I have not had any botting or AH account bans using this method. You will however almost always get a 72hour ban on your vanilla. This method has kept my botting/AH accounts safe and I just thought I would share it with everyone. If you have any questions please ask.
Yup. Simply delete the clothing immediately after you make the trade with the vanilla account. Good luck to you!
Interesting, But if you trade with the right people you rarely get banned. I sell my gold to real life people (People I know), and I have never received a ban. It probably has to do with the fact, the people I'm trading with don't re-sell the gold I'm selling to them, so their accounts aren't flag. Honestly I don't know.
Excuse me for being skeptical, but there are a lot more ways to fix such a problem in their system then "removing starter zone food" That wouldn't even fix the hole in the system at all. You kill one level one, and you have more items............. So, saying thats why they removed starter zone food is wrong, If your going to use some kind of evidence to prove a point use real evidence and not something you made up on the spot. thanks.
Anything can easily get you banned I dont do the clothes thing.. but one think you hinted on is the withdraw/deposit log.. I always withdrawl slightly more than i will trade to a GB.. eg if im going to trade 80k.. i might take out.. 82 + 34s + 3c
They removed the food because they increased regen rates for up to level20. Also using a guild bank is entirely possible if you do it correctly. All you need to do is close your guilds every few weeks or after a sale. This is the method I use; Farmer(s) -> AH Account -> Gold Storage Account (-> Seller Account).
Another thing I should mention is that if you have ALL of your farmers sending ALL their farmed resources to a SINGLE account to sell on you risk linking all accounts...
or you need to set like 1 thing on the Ah and make the price like what you will trade . example 5k. then you go on you charp and buy the item... you lose just a little.. but its save
I am aware of this. This is why I usually only use the AH account for 40days(new acc plus 10day burning trial). Then I make a new AH account and start sending to that one so its not continuously the same.
So after you ah the materials on your ah account how do you get the gold over to your gold storage account? Just curious. I then assume you have your selling account withdraw the gold from the Gold storage account's guild bank correct?
Such a waste of money ... with these low price of gold why people bother farming gold ... imo the one that should be fixed is the selling way ... don't sell to china their IP is totally dirty, find your own customers and sell to them
