Why is giles quitting? Someone please explain it here to me.

I would want to know what made giles quit making plugins for db? seems like a really sad and unfortunate news. He is the only one keeping the DB product working for now. His plugins makes combat better,makes loot filtering much better. Just makes life generally much better. His plugins is like 80% of what db is atm.

If he quits,then I will take my purchases elsewhere. The bot is never updated with any useful things.

 

no clue, but he wont be the first or last person who develops plugins here to quit. The people making the plugins/profiles work harder than the people who consistently release broke update after broke update. Also the moderation on this is sickening anyone who complains is banned or warned post after post are edited or out right threads deleted. The company is based in Germany censorship anyone ?

Wow, thats good news. Just wanted to show that you have my full support. You made this bot userfriendly and less irritating to deal with. If you leave and stop developing this bot will be shit, SPECIALLY WITHOUT your plugins. I dont have the time to sort through hundreds of items daily.

a lot of things are said in the heat of the moment, and people get excited/angry and do/say things that they regret afterwards as im sure you are aware giles, you are no spring chicken and neither am i, but i hope we are both as wise as each other : )

There was some drama on Skype or IRC, its been sorted and from what I see Giles is now happy. I'll talk to him when wakes up to make sure.

The reason of this garbage we get from developers in recent 2 weeks is obvious - all other d3 bots has been shut down by blizzard, so DB team knows well that we have nowhere else to go, and we either can stop botting at all or use their bugged software. Their last "update" was total disgrace, they obviously didnt even tested this crap, because i was able to tell that something is very wrong with is as soon as i turned on my bot. Personally iv donated 25 EUR to giles, and i intend to kepp donating 100 Eur monthly, as long i got profits from botting, because withouth him it is as we got no bot at all.
