Kynox and cypher have both in the past said to delete scan.dll before using kynox's model edit fix. Here is a short and sweet guide to dummy files. open up notepad... create a doc labeled scan then just type w/e inside, or nothing at all.. save it to your desktop right click, choose to rename it... rewrite the .txt portion to .dll accept the prompt now right click on your new scan.dll and go to properties. Click on the "Read Only" box accept prompt if you are prompted place it in your warcraft folder.. replacing your "old" scan.dll start wow.. do that same to scan.dll.new once you replace .dll.new it will not recreate anymore files... if you wish to double check afterwards that your file has not been rewritten to a working scan.dll simply check the size of the file... it should be 1kb
