      I have created this poll so that people can give their feedback experience on using the BGBuddy BotBase... I, in my own opinion believe that things need improving drastically as over several months I and many others have seen an huge influx of botters (from Piroxbots) using the BGBuddy BotBase and the system has yet to be configured for these changes. The side affects are being seen in most battlegrounds for quite a while with all the bots following the same one path.

      Although raphus did state in Honorbuddy IRC a few months ago that the BGBuddy did need to be updated although that has action has not yet come.

      So if you have positive or negative feedback to give on BGBuddy BotBase then please post as nothing will change without your voices being heard too.

      If you do not feel like posting, I have also put up a simple poll which will last until 09.11.2012 at 08:07 (30 Days).

      agreed, it needs a major overhaul.

      Once the bot is running smoothly like it was in cata BG bot needs to be addressed ASAP.

      the bot definately need more way points; everyone runs in the same direction. half the time it doesnt even attack when an enemy is close thats using both clu and singular. it runs into the gate at strand.. and everyone gets reported for it.. on the new battle ground not the one with the mine carts but the orbs one.. it constantly tries to get through the gate runs into it.. then performs auto unstuck routine which makes it so obvious at the start.. bg buddy definately needs some love.. and it'd be nice to have it all be random meaning say theres 5 people in the same bg running it. would be great to have no idea they were using the same bot.

      Edit: also in av.. whether your horde or alliance.. it runs a route where it goes back into the first boss area as if something is there.. and nothing is in there boss is downed already lol. pretty crazy.

      It's so stupid right now, cant even use this shit. Targeting water elemental instead of belinda.............

      It doesn't run waypoint after waypoint it is handled dynamically with hotspots and battleground logic like "moving to biggest friendly pack". It just looks like everyone runs into the same direction as of today you have 50% bots in the battlegrounds and the all use bgbuddy.

      Beside that neither clu nor singular are supposed to perform great in pvp. They are mainly designed for pve. ( as far as i know clu is being improved to support pvp).

      You can't delivery the same bot to everyone but with complete different behavior for the end user. Long time ago, before bgbuddy we just had the situation that the pvp bot was pretty unintelligent, just followed his path resulting in over and over running into an enemy base.

      Due to security reasons you can't sync bots with each other an walk other ways.

      For sure there is a lot to do and fix but this is very very complex.

      (btw, a good pvp player will always recognize who is a human or a bot, always! perhaps not when running by..but at least when it comes to bot vs. player)

      JUMPING! JUMPING! Needs to jump or even a plugin that jumps more. Randomized paths. Blackspots added to Bg's getting stuck in stairways and going in and out of buildings. Lots of phelons logic from Ultimate PVP should be added. Popping trinkets when needed and targeting healers. Capping nodes when possible. Just little things. but honestly the only Botbase i would leave AFK

      When doing BGs on my Tauren DK i get stuck in so many places and he begins the "botty" twitch -- the back and forth so fast no human could be doing it --- it makes my stomach turn worrying. I would love to see better pathing!

      What really would be awesome is a cloud like bot-behaviour-analyzis-system.

      bgbuddy/questbot sends anonymous information back to hb servers like black spots and stuff and if the server gets black spots confirmed by several automated let call it "reports" it automatically streams those black spot information to other bgbuddy users and their bot will then walk around this black spot.
      In general, such a system could be used for every stuck problem in the world.

      You can't improve something better than collecting and analyzing mass amount of data.

      What do you think?

      The first thing i always recognize a bot with is, they stand arround doing things. Actually they sure do something..cast or do damage...BUT they are standing arround.
      The bot needs more human like behavior and i'm not talking about hps, dps'ing or the decision where he decides to go..it is just how he acts in combat.

      It would look million times more human if the bot would strafe arround or run a few meters do some jumps..turn arround and start casting/healing again or whatever just like human players do!

      BGBuddy is already being updated, When it was made we did not realize how many bots would make up the battlegrounds eventually so the logic was then unable to handle it. The tester group has been working with us to test out the changed Battlegrounds. You should see steady updates on it throughout the month.

      There is no need for the poll as its being worked on already hehe. However, very detailed information is always good about each battleground and what logic could be good for each one. If you give feedback it needs to be as detailed as possible.

      Back when bgbuddy was in testing, I warned Raphus about the problems that it would have when it went live.

      Hope you guys actually listen to your testers this time :p

      Heres on for you auto que call to arms!? You jump on BGbuddy fire it up it reads and registers that it needs a win in AB for call to arms and a win in one Random BG for the conquest points. I can do this manually i know. By just queing RBG and come back to check and see if i had win yet then reque AB for the conquest points. But if there was just a dropdown for Conquest Points and the bot did all it could to earn conquest for the day that would be simply sick!

      I stopped using BgBuddy as it simply does not in any way near play like a person would play.

      10 ppl going one direction.
      Bot going to the opposite direction and alone attacks the whole team of opponents ;)

      Not meant as criticism in any way, it's just the way it is.

      If other users find BgBuddy fill their needs i'm fine with that.......

      If you cap a flag/tower you should stay until it is turned or you die fighting.
      If there is you and 1 or 2 others are at a flag/tower don't run away to the biggest battle and abandon them as the opposing faction is running up.

      Most of the 'train' behaviour can be fixed by editing your own Hotspots in the profiles. Most but not all.

      There is no "Hotspots" there are boxes. I got rid of "Stables" for AB and he visited it a lot less but still watched toon run to stables once or twice. A DEV post on adjusting BG profiles would be sweet. I would rather just write my own.

      It could use a few tweaks I suppose to make a character seem more realistic but other than that it runs great for me. I don't really have any problems with the way it is now. :)

      1. It needs to stop doing thoose "Mission impossible" like going for 7 people from the other fraction with no backup.
      2. Also it should really stop capping the first flag.All bots run for it and due to them being 1 second slower they end up spending 6 seconds trying to cap just to see someone cap it 1 second before.
      3. In isle of conquest in the start it use the teleporter instead of just running out of the gate.
      4. In AV it is okay that it stay in their base for 1-2 mins waiting for bunkers, but when it do it it need to run randomly around sometimes. Maybe attacking a NPC once in a while like real humans do when they are boored and waiting for timers.
      5. Every object (with object I mean "move to biggest fight" , ",move to most friendly players") needs to be randomized and the time before it starts to switch to a new object need to random. I think the current objects works fine in most of the regular BGs ( WSG, AB, EOTS, twin, gilneas) if you added a few more and randomized them I think it could work out.

      I'm sure this thread full of complaining will be just as effective as every other thread full of complaining that's been posted since the MOP update.
