Zul'Farrak Quick Mageweave/Silk Cloth farm Bare with me as a contributor to this forum. This is my first profile where I took sometime and made it version 1.0. Start profile outside of Zul'Farrak and as a Quest Profile What this profile does have: - Full mob run for silk cloth and mageweave cloth, greens, rares and epics. - This profile is a full clear and then resets the instance for you What this profile does not have: (and are on my to do list) - Vendors, I'll edit it later since it's right near Gadgetzan. - It wont kill bosses. I felt it would slow the process down if all you're after is the cloth. I can add them if they're demanded. - It wont loot the Shadow Graves, I'm not 100% sure on how to interact with those objects considering each hotspot has a different MobID Please feel free to test it, let me know if this is something worth continuing in development. The reason I made it was because the Auction House had NO Mageweave cloth when I was leveling my tailoring. View attachment Zul'Farrak Quick Cloth Run by silkybacon.xml
I really wish I had some feed back on this. I spent a few hours on making it, would love to hear if it at least works for other people
Silky, could you include in the first post which clothes this farms and where we need to be to start the profile? If this is or you turned this into a cloth farming profile for leveling tailors, I know you'd have a lot of grateful users.
Completely Agree! if there was a profile for farming the cloths it would be great, everyone knows the fastest way to get cloth is go through the instance closest to the level of cloth with an 85 and just rip it up... but alas no profile exists to do this, like maybe cloth and epics\blues?
Ok I'm going to give this a try today, thanks for your contribution I need so much cloth at the moment as I'm also leveling tailoring on two different toons.
Awesome! I'm the only one who has tested it, so it seems. I'd love some additional feedback. Thanks again!
I tried this out, it worked no problems. I ran it for three runs. I also tried Zikee's Baron mount farming profile, and edited it to enable looting on all mobs and managed to get some mageweave also, although I think I netted more from this. Thanks for posting. You wouldn't happen to have an instance farming quest profile for silk cloth by any chance ? I managed to gather only mageweave.
Tell me where a good instances is, i'll make it. I think Scarlet Monastery: Armory is a good silk spot? I'll do some research and post a profile in the next day or so.
Thanks a lot for your response... I just did a manual clear of 80% of the library in SM and didn't even get one stack of silk. So I'm going to clear the whole cathedral and see if this is better. Running and pulling the boss and all the adds at once seems to be a good strategy. I'll let you know my results. I might try the armory too and see how much I get thesedays. EDIT: results Library = 13 silk (80% clear) Armory = 60 silk (full clear) Cath = 59 silk (full clear including all the mobs at the sides) Not as good as it used to be Although if you combine the armory and cath in one reset it might not be too bad.
different zone in's means its no better for number of instances per hour. just depends on which one is easier to profile most likely.
is there any way to make an updated profile for silk with mop? cuz they changed alot of the low instances. ;/ i dont even think armory exist anymore.
I'll make a profile for a few places tonight. I see what you're talking about. Let me do some research
New guy here in an old topic, but I had to try this out since I needed Mageweaver Cloth. Just tried it, and it failed, decided to look at the .xml ( ps. never tried this before ) found this: changed it to: and now it's working. *EDIT* And changed: Code: <CustomBehavior File="UserSettings" FindVendorsAutomatically="False" LootMobs="True" PullDistance="20" TrainNewSkills="False" LearnFlightPaths="False" LogoutForInactivity="False" /> <While Condition="Me.Level > 1"> to: Code: <CustomBehavior File="UserSettings" FindVendorsAutomatically="False" LootMobs="True" PullDistance="20" LogoutForInactivity="False" /> <While Condition="Me.Level > 1"> as TrainNewSkills and LearnFlightPaths was giving errors.
