so i was playing wow, (during HB down time) im about to finish a quest, when all of a sudden i get kicked off the game. i thought nothing of it. then it happened again. so i was like wtf.. so i go to log back in and it says my pw is bad. i retype it to make sure im not going crazy and again tells me its bad. i jump on my email and i get a notification that my pw has been changed. i go to the bliz site and reset my pw with a new one. then jump back into wow. no characters.. nothing. not 1, on 4 servers. this is incredibly messed up. i tried calling blizz and their phone que is stuffed full and not taking any more calls atm. fml.
just make a ticket ull get it bak odds are they didnt transfer someone deleted it maybe a old friend or family member that is mad
im sure ill get it back. its the principle. this account is only a month old. no fam or friends know my act name or pw.
Did you by any chance have a character named christmas? There's this guy called the grinch, and he's well know for stealing christmas *shakes fist*. Could explain your situation.....
My buddies account was hacked yesterday too luckly we were able to get it back intact.. the cause of his account being hacked were some sneeky cookie files that captured his password. Might wanna run norton and spybot on your system to make sure it doesn't happen again. And if your going to browse questionable sites (most any bot site aside from here) I'd highly recommend running your browser in incognito/private mode that doesn't save any cookies after the browser has been closed.
mine got hacked once, which uber sucked btw, i realized how some days later = recently played on some private servers - using the same usr/pwd as my normal wow! very silly! do not do this! i am retard!
I went to that stupid kr.armory site on google search a couple weeks back cos im a retard. i put in my password a few times and it bought up no toons and i realised what had happened. i quickyl went and changed my passwords on the bnet site and didnt have any issues. The next day i have 8 emails saying i had changed my password from blizzard, it was in my junkmail though lol. Was mildly funny because obviously the retards have a script set up to say a change of password has taken place each time it attempts to login to your real account. I kept going back to the site using bogus email address and bogus passwords. i really should make a script up that continually logs into it and hopefully crashes it. Maybe make it available on the web so it completely fucks it up
I know many other bot sites that are legit and wont give you keyloggers. Where do you get that information?
