Its way to obvious, queued up in wsg today with at least 5 bots on my team including me, actually had to stop and play because people said they were reporting. But this isn't safe guys.. seriously this is ridiculous. the "Moving with pack" logic when 50% of your team are bots they kind of just end up standing around following each other accomplishing nothing.
In SotA right now, 15/15 of our team are bots, every one of them at the green gate attacking, no one touched the damn vehicles it's getting bad. I miss Glider
just use the new function to ignore flag bgs like wsg and twin peaks when joining random bgs. Its safer a bit.
Strand of the ancients is not a flag bg, and between that and AB you will lose your account. It's way to obvious.
The version before BGBuddy was named I thought was the the best, You could add you're Own waypoints where you would stand for Defending-Offensive. BGBuddy came as it's replacement for the simple reason Login-start-AFK-Sleep. The logic for BGBuddy 3 months ago was shocking, I don't bot anymore but 3 months ago I said something along the lines of 'Honerbuddy is to popular' battlegrounds then was a complete joke 7/10 would be bots. I'm sure i read 'mastahG' was reworking this bot?, I really don't know. Maybe I am wrong, Maybe they is user interface now :S.
Yes , they are reworking the BG Bot but it will take sometime and a lot of testing to get it too work right
A simple change would fix BG buddy.. Give us the option to make profiles the more diffirent routes there is the better. I've stopped my bots countless of times lately because there is so many BG botters it's unbelieveable. Whenever 3-20 ppl is running the exact same track it just gets so obvious that i'd rather leave with deserter and wait 15min to try my luck again. BGbuddy is great when it's capping flag and stuff but without the opportunity to make other routes it just looks clunky
why ? i am spaming sota most of the time, its fast no spawnkilling. U think that when all bots go left gate instead of right gate, that is obvious botting ? lol...
The deal with BG Buddy not having profiles is due to the fact they was thinking that if you follow a massive group you will get alot more honor for kills, but really a win is a win, if you get 1-2 kills a match its better to have had 1 kill then to been seen sitting with 50 other botters and get 50 kills but with the risk of a ban
Even Alterac is not safe anymore to much Bots using the same routes and pulling the Boss to soon. there are around 10 to15 Bots on Alli side today
AV is fine on my battlegroup, the bots actually do stuff and not stand on noob hill, no one reports them because they do better than some players even though some of them are quite obvious bots.
Even if they make changes, botting is too obvious. There will still be many bots in all the BGs, and anyone who just watches will notice that. There's no reason to kid ourselves or hope for a bot that will be safe. Those days are over. There are simply too many BGbots. I expect Blizzard to clamp down on it somehow. Seriously, a new BGBot will only add an artificial sense of security. The game will still be filled with thousands of obvious bots, even if they just run in a different direction. The only solution is to decrease the number of bots, which will not happen, since everyone wants to bot.
Yep, I also avoid AB and SoTA... they are the "report bot" battlegrounds. Never had issues with other Battlegrounds.
Yesterday I was in Battle of Gilneas, didn't use it myself at the time cuz Ive gotten a trillion LUA errors when running Hb (no addons installed/activated). However, when game started everyone charged the first base (mine), captured it and everyone just sat there and didnt move all game, so it hit me. 9 bots and me. After the score had reached 500-500 I looked at map and realised nobody has taken Waterworks yet... Must be 10 bots in alliance team and 9 in horde. Decided to go cap it, sat there and waited and nothing happened untill we won. I wanted to report every one of them.
