there is a big opportunity for this bot right now since space botting is too risky these days. people need a way to level to 50 with a bot, if this bot would just focus on that then it would get a lot more sales. this can be accomplished by making more use of grind profiles which have less problems. grind profiles from 16-48 or so would be great for the bot profiles that only do the class quests would also be great and could be combined with grind profiles to get your companions etc. free to play option coming soon, there could be a lot more customers for this bot if it can do this.
it needs to be questing the entire way though, unless the only thing you wanna do is BG's. since your class quest goes across all those planets your questing on. it makes questing profiles for this game a pain in the butt.
Well my one account got perma banned an hour ago so i fully support a solution for 1-50 and money making that isn't space botting. Go, go, go!
if the bot could just get us to 50 it would make things a lot easier. first off if you're into warzones/raids, you're done. if you want companions you just need to do the class quests. or you could grind somewhere for credits with one of the first couple companions. plus there are other credit farming activities that require a level 50. about class quest only profiles, even if it involves a fair bit of babysitting it would be worth it. better than paying people for level 50 accounts and you dont even know if the damn thing has been suspended before or can be recalled at any moment.
Do Kick's questing profiles work with a bit of babysitting now, or are they broken at some point/level? I just purchased but haven't been able to test yet because of the patch. I've done a lot of work on other bots in the past and I'd be happy to contribute to profiles here, providing the base product works well enough to build off. So do the SWToR Kick's profiles work at all?
I guess that lvling up by questing is the best, as questing looks less botlike than only grinding. To me questing is really way safer, and maybe quicker than simple grinding, plus it gives some credits and some good stuffs for the char you're lvling. Carembole.
they work pretty well to level 16 with problems every 30 minutes or so when the bot gets stuck and you need to manually correct a problem by clicking on an item in game or getting the bot unstuck etc. after that it seems the questing is more and more difficult. also after level 16 or so i think it only does class quests for a couple classes.
Thanks for the specifics! So, in your opinion, is the base product stable enough so that better questing profiles can be created/current profiles fixed? I love a challenge, providing we have access to enough working functions.
yep, this bot is amazing. it is aware of everything in the game. the combat/looting part is great. it casts appropriate spells at appropriate times. it has its own navigation system (it communicates with the buddywing navigation server for this) it seems a big problem is that i have read that it is very difficult to write the quest profiles because of how many steps the quests have and how many times it requires you to use an object and click on something etc.
Couple of things at the moment, the downtime for the bot is terrible, also its very hard to use (as far as other bots go) they could make some decent cash, but they would have to fix a few things, especially the downtime.
