Yeah... So I started working on a CC yesterday and Honorbuddy down again. I'm bored.

So I'm going to start a discussion on why Soccer sucks. (Yes I know yall call it futball or football depending on where).

1) Your not allow to lay someone out just cause they get in front of you. If it were more violent I'd watch it. I love the youtube video's of the soccer hooligan riots. Give the players weapons and broken bottles. It would be awesome in all of its bloody gore ness.

2) Who wants to watch a game where you kick a round ball around for hours and usually only score once or twice. I mean come on. Make the field shorter and the game faster pace and I'd love it.

3) They are just running and kicking a ball. Let them use steroids. I'd like to see 0-30 in 1 second outta men. Look like that rat from the cartoon. Speedy Gonzalez. Hell yeah I'd watch that.

4) Who wants to sit in a stadium of vuvuzela's... Oh my god... Shove that thing up your ass and die..... If I were the players I'd bring tommy guns and shoot you damn people. Then pike your heads on the field with your stupid little horn and play soccer through it like its a mine field... I'd also watch that.
(If you don't know what a vuvuzela is youtube it or www.vuvuzela.fm ... You should be aware of this noise so you know to kill the person next to you that starts it before everyone else gets theirs out.)

Anyways... Really. If it wasn't for all the stupid drone noise at a soccer stadium. I might check it out in person. Long as they sell alcohol. But until they ban the vuvu they will get no money from my pockets.

 

that's what really does it for me, I like the world cup - but I like watching it on sportscenter the next morning, TBH. I dont want to watch the whollllle thing for someone to yell "GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL" for 45 seconds out of the whole match.

 

1. Being/Playing like civilised people does not appear to be an American trait.
2. Short pitch would horrible, sometimes long/deep football is very entertaining. Eg; One of Germany's first two goals vs England.
3. Speed is good in a game but skill/talent is better and you can't take drugs to improve that.
4. The vuvuzela's are part of the South African culture and you will rarely see them at a normal football match.

BS... Every single Brazilian at the olypmics in 1996 already had a vuvu... I know they take'em to soccer games.

 

vuvus are from the race conflict ... early 90th they blow them if the policy came to the "favelas" the broken tows outsside the big citys ...

and yes in german stadium you will rarly see them. and at the most public viewing location there are forbidden

That referee during Japan & Paraguay was a racist. He gave Japan a yellow card for accident on the shoulder, and didn't give Paraguay any during he block the ball with both hand up. and many more ....

 

Anything international is always rigged to favor certain teams. China's olympics for example, they had 12 and 13 year olds competing. Canada for example. Made a luge track so fast and gave their team extra time to practice on it, but it was so fast it killed another teams member from another country. Anytime its international favorites will be played.

 

Villa punched someone on the match before portugal and nothing happened to him.

 

Sportball sucks

 

I will admit the referees are very bad this year, but if you block a ball that is aiming for your face, or your crotch, you get no penalty for it since it could potentially injure you.

I have a friend who won US nationals last year so I know way more than I should about soccer. I don't even like it.
