      The server seems to have melted down and we can't get anyone on it for 8 hours or so. We expect we will be offline for 12 hours or so. The installation of the load balancer by end of the working day tomorrow is still on schedule and we do expect that the problems will be solved at that point.

      Sorry for this. We will update you as news comes.

      I don't think this is the case, I believe this is a wrong word he used in his posts he would not be going through court or anything like that if he was just going to totally close HB down that is not the case and they are not giving up on HB.

      It's more of a language barrier I believe

      lol that's funny, You are getting a lot more sales but cant afford more dev's why is this? I would say you guys have made a shit ton since expansion release a lot of new comers and posters. Sucks how they are focusing on D3 bot more

      Imagine if roller-coasters stopped midway, but only to breakdown time and time again. Imagine if air-bags failed to work in car collisions. These are paid services with warranted expectations. People may rage, flames may arise, but in the end, it's just this feeling of disappointment, almost to the point of helplessness. Bossland has indeed acknowledged the state of the bots, but I fail see the fairness in continuing such a service.

      They're saying it will be up TOMORROW.
      Did you guys fail to read the forums? You have enough time to come on here and bitchbitchbitch about the bot.
      WHY DON'T YOU PLAY THE GAME LIKE IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED.
      I see so many people "omfg i can't raid tonight"
      YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW YOUR CLASSES BASIC ROTATION ENOUGH TO SHOW UP AND DPS OR HEAL!? (have you ever ACTUALLY played the game???)
      Of course stuff is going to go wrong. Do you guys flame this hard when Blizzard fucks up on a patch and you're stuck out of WoW for 48 hours?

      I wouldn't take the time to shut down sales of a product knowing it would be back up the next day.
      Even if there are a few issues, will you really stop using HB just because of this..? NO. You'll be using it right after it's fixed and be as happy as before.
      Patience people. We all paid for the product. You should know there WILL BE DOWNTIME ON A BOT.

      And another thanks to Bossland for keeping us updated. Yeah it's a bitch I can't BGbot and farm for herbs/ore atm, but a weekend of no botting? IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD PEOPLE. MAYBE YOU CAN ACTUALLY L2P (LOL):rolleyes:


      Pardon my language. I would think people would have common sense to such issues.

      In my opinion this product has been amazing since I first started using it. Until I found HB, I had used Glider, Openbot, Pirox, Pocketgnome and Shadowbot. Let me just say that Honorbuddy is by far the most versatile product of its type. Nothing compares to the flexibility and ease of use that HB provides. Issues with products like this are expected to be had, and a few days downtime is nothing given the pricing structure, huge community and good support that surround the Buddy team and community.

      The honesty of the developers is commendable and I've never experienced such honesty in any MMO community. We should be thankful that HB has stayed alive through various legal issues, and a lot of you don't seem to understand the amount of work that something like this requires. Thank you for being honest but more importantly for creating such an amazing product. The amount of time that I've saved remains a million times greater than this relatively short period of downtime.

      Oops forgot: I've been using HB since Pirox died despite registering today.

      Hey Boss just add a monthly fee and get a few more admins that can help it's a ton easier to throw a few bucks towards more help then dealing with upset customers spamming the forums. I mean hell it could even make a difference in the court case because you'd perhaps have a little extra money to hire more lawyers. I'd much rather pay little extra then deal with days without here and there because of a lack of Dev on duty.

      he could have 100 devs dude, server maintenance and devs arent available on the weekend so it would've waited until Monday regardless it comes down to knowing the fact like any other job this one isnt 24/7

      You're implying that they wouldn't schedule at least one person to be on over the weekend.

      not implying that all, its been said that no real work is actually done on weekends in previous posts in the past, and it isnt the software that needs revising its the servers.

      Again, you are implying that they haven't learned anything from this instance and wouldn't have one or two people working over the weekends who would be able to react to something like this, even in an on-call capacity.

      I'd love to see you tell that to your IP provider/cable TV service if it broke down on a Friday night and they said they don't have coverage until Monday so you're SOL until then. It's funny how you can justify a business being so lax in their organization and preparedness to combat issues that everyone is having. Me, I haven't touched the bot in over a week due to all this madness and I'm just enjoying using WoWplus to port me everywhere for now.
