is it just me or does this suppose to happen? This has only happened with Kicks mega profile pack and this plugin... am I doing something wrong?

Hmm... no idea why that is happening.

 

Just logged on the alt to check a thing and noticed that SGI still gives a wow error on startup.
Everything works like it should but I can't figure out WHY it gives the error, and looking at the error code doesn't make me any happier.
So for now you have to live with that it gives a wow error for some strange reason, it has to do with the filter code but for me it's still working flawlessly so have no idea....

 

What does the "Mute SGI" button do? Does it disable to addon from inviting or does it just hide the system messages?

 

Muti SGI hides SGI messages like : 'Scanning level 1-5 players', 'Found 3 players without a guild' etc etc

 

Is there a way to get this plugin and addon without SVN then? Since for some reason I can't get it to work :/

 

Is there anything to indicate it's actually working? i can't see anything on my screen, so im unsure if it's actually doing anything, files are placed where they should, eventho i cannot click Settings from the Plugins tab on HB

Once you've installed everything, make sure you've set up SGI in-game properly. From the guild tab in WoW you can press "view log" to see if you've actually been inviting, or unmute the addon and check that you can see system messages. Though you should quite frequently see "You have invited xxx to join your guild"...the typical wow message.

 

How come I still see outgoing messages? I have the box to disable it checked.

Appreciate the answer Sidalol, but im still kinda struggling, i've already had SGI for a while and it's setup the way i like, and theres nothing in the view log, it's like the plugin is there, just chillin like a villain.

 

It's because you are using a old ver, update it

 

You need to download the modified SGI from the SVN, Plugin won't work without the modified one.

 

I'm working on a fix for the startup error wow gives.
I finaly figure out why it was giving an error, it is because when you start wow a SYSTEM_MSG is given so it tries to actually filter that message before the addon is fully loaded so it tries to check for a variable that haven't been set yet.
So trying out to see if I can fix it, but servers where just restarted so have to wait abit now .....

 

Ok, new rev on the SVN, figured out a workaround for the startup wow error.
For the testing I did now it seems to work like it should, please report if it's not

Edit: probably files conflicting considering i was an idiot and didn't uninstall the original first, i'm a dumbass.

 

Is it possible to hide SGI UI? Having a big fat box on your screen is kinda annoying, but I appreciate the plugin for sure!

 

I'm actually concidering doing that. Well, with this plugin as it invites automaticly it doesn't really need to show but I still just don't want to hide the superscan window, I like to code the info into the minimap button or something similar, it's still only in the idea apartment of my brain, but it's a high posibility it will come

 

This plugin can be used to create a guild?
