Fpsware Druid: Shapeshifter

Just tried this profile and definitely got problem during pull. If it detects a mob in the back, it will not turn around to face the mob and it will keep trying to cast. Hope to see a fix soon as this is an amazing profile for balance spec druid, so good work.

 

This problem has been fixed. But before I release the next build I need to do some more testing on other features and resolve a couple of bugs.

changed to feral cat and DAMN this is just perfect. no problems so far.

 

everything works flawlessly except Im having problems with it getting stuck trying to cast Incarnation King of the Jungle. It stops attacking and just sits there with the incarnation small aoe target circle up on the screen but never actually uses incarnation. which is preventing it from continuing on with its routine, which results in a death. Ive tried turning it off, and every other option available for it always never adds 3-5 none of the options seem to actually disable it. I dont mind it using it but when it gets stuck in the middle of its routine because of it, it sucks, adding like 10 deaths an hour to my grinding/farming spots.

Thats an odd one, what spec and what level are you? Can you attach a log file.

I've been testing out all tank builds the HB forums have to offer and I have found yours is THE BEST for bear tanking. Shapeshifter (respectfully) has a higher survivability rate than the other bots. I love how your profile offers more options and allows for better customization. These are some of my ideas to improve the profile. I'm in no way a coder; I'm proud of knowing how to change the max level of a profile. ^.^' However, my main is a bear and I feel Shapeshifter could be tweaked a little to improve performance.


-An option to prioritize skills. I pull as many mobs as I can handle at a time and I've noticed that Shapeshifter will cast Mangle on each individual mob before casting Thrash. This causes me to take more damage than I should and the fights last longer than they should. I was hoping it would be possible to include different mob scenarios with a checkbox on how the tank should handle them.
-More options when targeting mobs. Shapeshifter will often focus on only one mob. What if it were possible to detect the currently aggro’d mobs and go after the one with the weakest health? If someone is trying to steal a mob (this happens in competitive daily areas), the bear could know the distance of the farthest mob. I was hoping it could cast Wild Charge/Skull Bash/Faerie Fire/Growl to keep the mob.


Like I said I'm not a coder but I would like to help however I can. If anyone can improve or add to these ideas please do!

 

Im running it on an 88 Feral Druid, problem started for me yesterday.

I will try to get a log file when I get home later.

Should be atleast one of the log files where the issue happened. Like I said before it seems to just happen randomly and my char will just sit there auto attacking till i either press escape or manually click the ground to target an area.

my other log files were quite huge as ive been botting my arse off. hah

I was also wondering if it would be possible to have the bear cast skills as fast as possible. I'm no expert but it seems like you could code in SOMETHING to get it to cast faster. To me it seems like a math problem. Like [average cast time of bot x .75 seconds]. Feedback! Ideas! Post'em!

Its casting back to back spells for me.

And, as this is a questing CC the milliseconds between casting does not matter. If it were a raider / PVP CC I might tend to agree.

 

Incarnation is not a ground targeted spell, so I don't know why its showing a ground targeted icon.

It has to be another spell. I've gone through the log and I can't find anything out of the ordinary.

 

Trinket maybe? That's my only guess. If it's not a spell, it would have to be a trinket or racial.

 

90 resto... bad gear, very good healing.. almost never oom thnks for this CC. One thing i noticed is it doesnt take advantage of "Clearcasting", but idm becasue i dont oom anyway besides adding checks for it would probs slow down the CC.

ONE quick question. Will you ever set up a svn for easier updating?

This CC is AMAZING. Using it with a level 87 feral who used to die a bit much with Singular, now she plows through mobs. Also RAFing a (currently lvl 40) guardian with a healer via dungeons, I might start tanking on my 87 because the lowbie's tanking has been so brilliant. Thank you!

Edit: Also, I am waiting with great anticipation for more Fpsware CCs. Omg omg omg.
