I have a question about having multiple accounts under one battle.net account. Figured this is the best place to ask as someone here would probably have the answer. Say I have one battle.net account and 2 wow accounts merged to it. If I bot on one, and never bot on the other, also never mail gold or items across accounts. (ie. no contact, including names/info, between the two besides being merged under battlenet) Would both accounts be banned if I were caught botting on one of them? I think its something only someone with experience would know, and I haven't had an account banned since before battle.net came out. Thanks, Jon
Ok, i have a question attached for that, but its probably pretty obvious, what if you have say 3 accounts and you bot on all of them? if one gets caught, do they all do? I think you guys answered it in a sense, but just to be clear.
I have 2 accts under one battlenet. one got a 72 hr, then a perma (which i reversed) and the other has been just fine. I think its only in extreme cases where they do in depth investigations that people get hit on more than one at a time.
No. I have botted on two accounts under same BNet name, and my third account (which is my main) did not get a ban when the other two received bans. I had botted RARELY on the main account.
The Risk of all of them being Banned is Greater Than if you just had them on seperate battle.net accounts.
I have two battle.net account, each with wow. I signed both with the same surname. So I can trans the chars.
The only real association between WoW accounts under the same Battle.net account is just that - the login credentials are the same, but nothing (from what I can tell) is linked as far as investigative purposes go -- just as if you were to have two separate Battle.net accounts, essentially (speaking from experience).
