      Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Services - World of Warcraft

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. I'd say perhaps the custom combat profile (Superbad) I used for feral cat was the issue, it seemed to use a different movement scheme (looked like CTM even though I didn't have CTM enabled) than say HazzDruid 4's movement scheme. I also found it would randomly have an issue choosing which mob to attack next; for example, it would detect two mobs near the same distance away and start running to one, then to the other, then back to the other, so on so forth for about 15 seconds before settling on one. Looks VERY obvious in my opinion. I also questioned how this bot used the abilities of my character without them being set up on my bars. This smells like major RAM manipulation which I wouldn't doubt is hugely obvious to Blizzard or Warden or w/e big brother is sitting on our computers while we play. This botting experience was very poor. I used Pirox bot in its prime two years ago, and it was flawless, and focused on not being detected, as well as having a plethora of features. The fact that the first day I use this program, I get detected easily, doesn't bode well for HonorBuddy. Rest in Peace Pirox bot... best bot ever, and forever untouched by any other bot in terms of functionality and security.

The spells on bars doesn't matter.
It's being called via its ID, same as if you manually click on the actionbar.

I don't mean to sound like a dick but personal opinion on that whole last part and feel free to use another bot if this experience was bad. But from my experience, if not most users experience, the bot has been great. Hope your ban gets lifted if you try to fight it and try and just stick to the questing profiles. :)

      Good day!

My advice would be to dispute the ban then read on how to set up and use Questing Bot. Nobody uses Grind bot any more when they can quest their way to success instead.

Mate, sorry for your bad experience. Actually you have no idea what you're talking about.

Use Kicks awesome questing profiles, grinding for hours is soooo much last generation bots! Don't do it.

I would have done questing, but I had a crap-tonne of rested xp giving me 9k per kill, so..... 9k per kill or running around for 15 minutes to get 60k.....

12 Hours of grinding IS normal, people grind that often, all the time. I used to play a single Alterac Valley for 12 hours straight back in vanilla, WoW players are a strange breed....

Pirox had the most users, thus more bans, this is obvious. So tell me, are we ONLY being detected by GM patrols and player reports? Are you telling me that they aren't scanning what is accessing our RAM or detecting our open windows or searching our computer for active 3rd party software processes?

So I can just go run around acting like a bot and get banned?

      Thanks for the replies, gang.

PS. The defensive responses are funny! "Don't you be talkin trash about my bot program! The one you like is WORSE so THERE!"

No, it is not stated in their ToS/EULA. They've already been through this with Warden, they can't scan anything on client side. All they can do is ban by unrealistic hours and too many reports plus not answering to GM's questions multiple times. Hence the reason they have GM's.

Edit: And no one is trashing Pirox, it was a good bot... Was. Then they sold out, so "TAKE THAT!"

Here's my next question then, which probably has a logical answer, making me a complete noob: Should I now consider my account "red flagged" and just not bot with it again? Derpadurr!

The grossly obvious comes to mind as the reason for the ban, not all the stuff you listed. You GRIND botted for 12 hours in a high population, CRZ - that screams at me PLAYER REPORTS. This was easy to do in the days of yor, but know there is so much competition - players report you.

Also botting on an account that you are ready to lose is not smart either.

Not really sure what to say, I'd say bad luck and stay away from grinding in the future.

Was it SoR/Unmerged account ? If so, that's the reason you got banned. You could bot as little as 30 mins a day and still be banned.
Botting on SoR/Unmerged account means you will lose it rather sooner than later.
