      <Blackspots>
      <Blackspot X="-1181.436" Y="1762.693" Z="17.94537" Radius="61.28667" /> <!-- Sentinel Base Camp - Alliance elite -->
      <Blackspot X="-574.2518" Y="646.2101" Z="160.7808" Radius="15" />
      </Blackspots>

      that is an example on how to use Blackspots

      I desperately need to blacklist nodes. Gatherbuddy is not usable without that option.

      When I click "Developer Tools", it does not open another window. Sometimes a window shows on my taskbar, which I am unable to maximize. Most of the time, it crashes the bot. Thank you for the answer, but please don't say reinstall the bot. I have done that over and over every time I find a little problem because that is usually the answer that is given. This issue has always been there, I just never had a need for it until now.

      By default, HB blacklists a node after 20 seconds if the bot cannot reach the node. This can easily be manipulated by hitting SPACE (or whatever your jump key is) repeatedly, refusing the bot access to the node.

      In theory this should be the case, but I have seen my bot circle a tree or rock for more than 5 minutes without blacklisting a node. In a previous thread of mine I had asked a similar question and one of the moderators was kind enough to answer me in detail. He said that blacklisting a specific node isn't possible in Gatherbuddy2, but one can use a blackspot in the profile. The term "blackspot" is a misleading because it makes you think its literally a spot, like the location of a node. However, blackspots are actually spherical in shape. The world of WoW is made up of invisible tiles, which are kind of like the borders between properties in RL (think suburban towns where people put up fences between their houses... the fenced off areas are like "tiles" in WoW). So, a blackspot is a sphere in WoW and tiles become "less favorable" to pass through/over if they are contained within the area of the blackspot sphere. However, this doesn't mean that your bot won't fly through the blackspot! Think of blackspots like suggestions... they should be called "suggested areas of avoidance." Furthermore, if you stack multiple blackspots on top of each other in your profile, it will not make them any more effective than a single blackspot would be at preventing your bot from trying to fly in that area. But, that being said, blackspots are still the best and only tool we have as far as I know. Try not to make blackspots that are too large in circumference as those might overlap too many tiles and become less effective at preventing the bot from moving through them. At this time, I don't believe there is a map of WoW showing where the actual tiles are.

      So, you are probably asking at this point, "how do I generate a blackspot and put it into a profile?" The previous posts didn't really answer that question in enough detail and assumed you already had some experience editing profiles. Here is how you create a blackspot in a Honorbuddy Gatherbuddy2 profile:

      In Honorbuddy click on the "Developer Tools" button on the lower right side of the program. A new window will open up, which I suggest you move to another part of your screen so that it doesn't cover up the original HB main program window. The new developer tools window will by default open up to the "Profiles tab" in which you will find an area titled "Common" on the bottom left. Note: You will need to stand or be mounted in game at one edge of the sphere you want to create as your blackspot. Obviously, this sphere should encompass the node, tree, or rock that is giving you trouble. Then click the "Generate Blackspot" button in the developer tools window. A message will appear in the main HB window saying: "First edge saved. Now run to the opposite end." Now, run, walk, or fly (it doesn't matter which way) to the other edge of this sphere you want to create as your blackspot and hit the generate blackspot button again. In the main HB window the blackspot coordinates will appear: "<Blackspot X="-225.2377" Y="512.6571" Z="190.9304"" In summary, at this point you have basically moved your toon to opposite ends of a sphere in game and have the 3D coordinates of that sphere in the main HB window.

      Now, highlight and copy that line of text. Open up the profile you want to add this blackspot to using Notepad. Paste that blackspot in anywhere underneath <Blackspots> in the profile. Save, reload the profile in HB, and you've done it!

      If you can accomplish this then you are also ready to make your own profile, which is pretty much the same, but you will be using the "generate hotspot" button and move your toon along a path in game which you want to farm through. The bot will travel from one hotspot to the next. Hotspots are specific coordinates listed in a profile along a sequential path through which the bot will travel while searching for farmable nodes. I hope this was helpful.
