Are priests really this hard to bot?

I have botted three different classes, death knight, paladin and a mage. But my priest refuses to stay alive for longer than 20 kills at a time. Sometimes i just take over because im tired of coming in from work and have my priest on a "waiting to res 2 mins remaining" screen with all amour broken. If anyone else has botted a priest and had some good profiles for clothies than i would really like your input because my priest is getting 35k per hour at level 70 with level 70 gear.

I had a horrible time with my rogue...

 

What profile and CC are you using? My Priest has been running like a dream. I was using Deltasniper3's 1-80 pack from 70 until 73 when you hit the reflect happy mobs in Dragonblight. Then I started using Hiddenlol's Zul'Drak profile which kills the ghosts. Then, at 77, I did the Shadow Vault quests by hand so I could go into the Shadow Vault to repair/vendor and have been running Exfelon's Valley of Fallen Heroes from 77 until now (about 1/4 of the way thru 79). I'm also using the Khryses 1.16 profile which, for me, has been way better than Ecliptor.

I'm assuming you're a shadow spec? My rotation looks like PW:S, pull with VT, MB, SW, Mind Flay, MB, Mind Flay until almost dead then wand. Currently making 140k/hr with no heirlooms or rested xp. Not sure what else to tell you.

Right now im using Ecliptor. And to be honest ive been using loads of different profiles and normally they are great for my other classes but for my priest there horrible. im going to try that profile pack and khryses cc next. Thanks alot for the post btw i was running out of ideas

Edit: Turns out that profile pack doesn't have alliance 70-80 right now but ill continue looking

 

No worries. Here's a SS of my Khryses setup/options.

 

Also, make sure you go to the last page of the Khryses post and either grab the version i posted for 3.3.5 or the other guy who made some changes.

 

Now if only the bot would kill everything in his way instead of just running into it and sometimes killing it and sometimes not.

I already can tell its much better, i saved those pics and i advise anyone with problems with their priest to use your settings and cc.

 

i bought heirloom gear in cloth and leather, leveling was a breeze with priest and rogue.

 

You should try manually playing it... yes it's hard.

 

Glad to hear. Credit for the CC goes to Nesox...all I did in that thread was fix it so it wouldn't interrupt channeling spells and update it to work with 3.3.5. That CC is the only reason my priest is about to ding 80 lol.

 

rogues are so easy to bot... if you have the right profile.. atm i have a perfect 1-40 profile that my rogue's are running fine in.. well most of them been refining as i go

Don't use a default CC,
Roll shadow,
Get a better profile.

 

keep in mind ecliptor2 is still beta, and really ecliptor classic was never ment to be a end all CC,
