The latest versions of the bot seem to "degrade" on keeping KC on cooldown it seems. As the fight goes on KC is used less and less frequently, which is annoying, but not bad if you can catch it and just manually press it, but still.
you never have them up at the same time.. you lose dps by shortening your opening burst length. my burst on gara peaks at 230k.
Thanks for the report, I've taken a look at Kill Command myself and since it is the highest DPS attack hunters have I've moved it up higher on the priority list and tried to ensure a little better that other spells don't cast over it. What comes to popping Bestial Wrath with rapid fire IF you have readiness, I couldn't really say if that's better. Usually we're talking delaying readiness by 10 seconds here. Unless someone pops bloodlust, which is when it might not use other cooldowns at the same time. Things like these aren't easy for a bot, it depends much on the fight when you should pop cooldowns. If you're doing high skill level raiding then doing some stuff by hand is adviced. Anyway I'm going to upload an update with the changes in the SVN.
awesome. i guess wether you delay RF or Pop it at the very beginning depends too much on the encouters mechanics as you've already said. anyways this CC performs really well and im glad i have it for the lazy days
Glad to hear, oh and I just uploaded a small fix to Cobra Shot (Honorbuddy sometimes returns wrong value for focus required for a specific spell so I had to check manually).

As there is obviously no universaly correct answer, an option that would allow the bot to use the potion at a certain percentage would be good, provided the bot CAN distinguish between trash and bossfights and therein between adds and the boss. It would be a neat feature, but it is not like you loose out on a lot of dps if you pop the potion a global or two too late if it still runs the full length. BTW, i too have found that the usage of Kill Command (KC) has not been optimal recently. I do not know wether it is hard or not to allow the bot to calculate when a certain level of focus will be reached through auto focus generation and delay the usage of cobra shot or even canceling it if you are only - lets say 0.3 to 0.5 seconds - into the cast for the purpose of keeping KC on cooldown. My current manual workaround for this issue is a stopcasting + KC macro. it is however unpleasant and takes time getting used to, as i can not queue up the ability anymore as i have replaced the single ability with the macro.
First i love this ! good work ! But kill command needs a fix, ive seen its does tend to loose out on a quite abit during the whole raid encounter due to time its not cast asap.
What comes to using virmens bite, it's certainly possible to use it during boss fights, just as stampede etc are used. Though if you're raiding seriously you should prepot and then prot again during a burn phase if there is one. There's really no way to determine exactly when to use it without going to some extreme measures, but I'll add some option to use it. What comes to using kill command off cooldown, honestly it's supposed to do that fairly well but in the end it's easier said than done. The bot not using it off cooldown always is more down to the limitation of the bot rather than the coding. That said, I will try to improve it somehow.
I've made a few changes to Steady/Cobra Shot so it won't que it up for a cast during Global CoolDown. Oh and you guys should set your Custom Lag Tolerance (In Interface > Combat) to something around 250-400. This allows for spells to que up before global cooldown is over, it should speed up the casting and thus DPS. One other thing; Do you guys think Bestial Wrath should be used off cooldown on all targets? Then I could make sure that if BW is just about to come off cooldown, I would wait to use some spells (A Murder of Crows, Maybe Kill Command). Delaying those attacks for a few seconds to get the benefit of additional damage and saved focus should be more benefitial than losing on a few seconds, right? Edit: Update is in the SVN now. Virmen's Bite included. Edit2: Currently Virmen's bite is used on Boss asap as long as you don't already have it. I'm changing it so it's used if you have Bloodlust and Rapidfire and/or Bestial Wrath. Any thoughts or objections to that?
Awesome update. I have not yet checked everything for functionality though. It appears that the checkbox to use virmens bite at a certain percentage of the mob is missing. Also it would be smart to only let the bot use virmens in bossfights and not during trashpulls if possible. i have yet to raid with the new version so i cant say if it does or does not do so. Thanks a lot for adding the healthstone option, there is however no checkbox to en- or disable it. It might be just me, but the new Item category is a little confusing. For example what do i check and uncheck if i want the bot to use heathstone at below 15% personal hp and pop virmens bite at 20% boss hp? to be fair im not perfectly sure about that.
