I guess this can be asked about all questing. If you are already a 10+ and start using a questing profile. Should you delete all your active quest and start or does it matter?
Superb guide ! Got one question. Is it possible to fix so that my character does not run straight into 3-4 mobs when moving to hotpoints or questgivers, then dismounts.
Like Sam said... HB issue. Every single profile/cc I've used so far does it. I always check the profile to see where exactly I should be at the current lvl, travel there, then start up the bot. Just starting up the bot a map or two away almost guarantees my death(s).
yea I was doing a lock in westfall and he would run right thru camps on foot. Needless to say he was dead. I put a black spot on all the camps and he would still run close enough or up to one and get killed. Its pure BS
If he's still running too close to the camp, just increase the radius of the blackspot. I think that should work.
New version of HB requires NPC Names to be Case Sensitive, MacGregor is written as Macgregor, I'll report more as I am finding them.
Ok, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but... Using this profile on my 22 druid. I'd love to say it's been awesome so far, but I just started using it, though up till now it has worked more or less fine (grinding spiders and wolves at the top of duskwood). However, now that I've dinged 22 it's running me all the way back to moonbrook in westfall and killing grey mobs there, and I have no idea why. I have no quests in westfall, and taking a brief look through the file, it looks like it should still be hanging out in duskwood. Anyone got any ideas or solutions? EDIT: My bad, he does have a quest there, the legend of stalvan. lol. My bad, sorry. EDIT 2: Actually, no, I manually completed the legend of stalvan and handed it in and he headed straight back to moonbrook, and this time he really doesnt have any quests there. Actually its the base of the dagger hills near the murloc shore, but...yeah. A bit strange. annnnnddd...EDIT 3: I'm guessing it has something to do with the forced quest list that has the three lighthouse quests at level 22.
It's now checking for Names instead of ID's like it did before, which also fails for non-english clients. Guess that will be fixed in the next build.
Mordd I've been using this profile for a little under a week now and got my warrior to 45. Half the time in quest mode and half the time in grind mode (more so grind mode in duskwood due to several stuckpoints I had to blacklist). Wonderful profile thanks for your hard work!
Anyone else having the bot running around Westfall beating up on the mechanical guys? It's already done the related quest, yet just continues to grind on these. Flipped it over to grind mode, instead of quest, and going to gauge the results.
20+ is being updated as we speak. I am testing the improved 1-20 and as soon as she hits 20 I will release an update
The the previous versions of Hb it was hard to grind on anything else. I am working on expanding the grind to 20 with little success. Its too risky to grind defias or gnolls as they are in clusters.
I guess what I'm experiencing then is by design? Forgive me for posting, then. I should have looked into the file and determined where it did, and what it was supposed to do there. I guess I'm just so used to HB just grinding when it feels like it, I didn't know what to do
Well myself, I could grind defias and gnolls with no issues. Even the camps. I would pull one at a time and if I did get a group then I would probably be ok. But Hb may pull one, then move into loot and pull the rest. Also its not that good at pulling the singles first. Fact is, for all classes that use this profile I just have to weigh in on the safe side. As ive said before to many people if you think the profile is slow then make your own, use someone elses, or level by hand. Not that im directing that at your mate Just saying, I try to make the profile safe for all even if somtimes it levels a bit slow.
I totally understand your philosophy now. My issue (and again it was mine, no one else's, brother) was that I was expecting more questing to be done. Please understand, I wasn't trying to be critical or anything at all, I just assumed (wrongly) that it was grinding when it should have been questing. That's why I hopped on here to see if the behavior I was seeing was by design (yes) or I was having an issue (no). Of course I appreciate all your hard work. Thank you, immensely.
great profile! but... the codes of the vendors are all messed up so the char just stops near them waits ang go away. can you fix it pls?
