The topic title is part of a topic. Asking for a free game in the title, then stating the game name in the topic are not two seperate things. You don't answer one then the other, it means the game mentioned in the topic itself is the one referred to in the title.

At the end of the day, you know this is Warez discussion. You're speaking to me like we're in a court of law and you're looking for specific words said to find someone guilty. I know you're just looking for banter. And if you truely don't know that this is Warez discussion, then I'll agree with you to keep you happy.

Correct, the topic title is part of the topic, hence why I referenced it. However, my argument still stands. You're more than welcome to download full copies of games for free, if you're only keeping those games as a backup because you already own a legitimate copy of the game.

I own the game "Need for Speed: Most Wanted." I have the box next to me, and if I wanted I could download that game again from whatever website I wanted in order to keep it as a backup (I wouldn't be allowed to alter any of the files though). Your last paragraph is more or less correct, it's about keeping things tolerable. Nobody has explicitly discussed, linked to, downloaded or recommended any warez in this topic. If people keep it clean, I see no reason for this topic to be locked/deleted/etc.

The first post, "i want a copy" suggests he doesn't already have one. Anyway, it seems you genuinely can't see that this is warez discussion and are taking it way too seriously, so I'll just say ok, I agree :)

"Copy" suggests that there is an original, actually. I don't see how wanting a copy of something suggests you don't have an original. I'm also not sure if you're just being a troll, because you seem to be pointing out things that don't make much sense and skipping over arguments I provide you with.

I'm skipping arguments because it's a pointless argument. And when speaking about software, that definition comes second. A "copy" of a piece of software usually referres to the origional, with a backup being explicitly stated as a backup.

And yet neither a copy nor a backup imply warez. While I disagree with your definitions, even if I agreed my point would still stand.
