I don't really care about the plugin updates so much as his own health. It's been over 2 weeks since we've heard from him and things didn't sound very good when he told us what was happening with his health. Has anyone seen him on IRC or anything lately so we at least know he's still alive?
well i don't know him, i dunno what hes suffering from but he made our lifes better so i really hope he is ok, btw im myself a very vulnerable person , i got many problems with my health , i found cure for the most annoying ones, if anyone knows from what he is suffering maybe i can give him a hint (im rawfoodist for over a year now and i studied a lot on this matters, who knows maybe i can help good health buddy !

First off he wasnt making shit.... A few people donated every release but thats about it. He did great work but if you want my opinion he wont be coming back hes moved on.
I hope he is on good health. If he has moved on I wish him good luck. He doesn't owe anyone anything, if he never comes back the community will always owe him for his contributions. And this isn't a hollow comment because I've donated to him twice for good amounts. Cheers Giles!

Last time i heard he had testical cancer? Is this true? Edit:just a joke btw ha. Also like otheres before me said, noone donated to him hardly and the guy practically built 1/4 of db, he will prob come back in a month but hes prob in no rush cuase we're all abunch of cheap assholes (especually me)
He just accepted my donation few mins ago, good thats he sometimes using computer, hope he is ok Really miss that guy here harleystcool thats "people" nature, they except all the best for free without any effort from their side like donation or even simple "thank you" and when you will take this away for example Giles work they start to realize how wrong they were. Ill send donation to Giles for sure in next week one more time becasue without this plugins DB would be almost not usable for me, even when he decide to make paid plugins I would be first person to buy it from him becasue he deserve it.
I's settle for paid plugins from giles any time. Hell he can even open his own paid plugins thread care, dont even care if it is against db's terms of use or w/e. That guy deserves it and he knows it... To be frank i am in a bit of a tight situation with money atm, but as soon as i get on my feet i will be sending him a nice reminder of the great work he has done.
Thats what i was thinking, when u get free plugins or profiles they get outdated or the profiles will be riddled with problems. If u paid like a dollar for a plugin or script, ull get quilty and give ppl a reason to keep updating it. But since its free they build a script or plugin for experience/vanity/novelty and move on after awhile
