ok, this bot is important to me. i really want to see big improvements in stability and pathing. but i don't think cursing them out is going to help accomplish that goal. but if cursing them out did help then in the words of Samual L Jackson, "motherfucking fix the motherfucking bot motherfuckers!" hehe
I do want to say that when BW does work, which is TOTALLY random, it's like some kind of eyegasm as it's so beautiful. But when it doesn't, which is quite often, you get the urge to throw your computer out of the window, run down to it, pour gasoline on it, light it on fire, get extingisher and put the fire out, get sledge hammer and hammer the shit out it and then finally put it on fire again.
Buddywing is a mess, I know a little about the workings of bots from my Honorbuddy experience but buddywing just seem to come up with the most extreme errors. The log files I have browsed throw... my god.. For me the Buddywing experieance have been harsh, a faithful honorbuddy user for years I started to give negative feedback on buddywing. This resulted in my old account "CoyDK" being banned for life from this forum and no response or replies from the admins. Just a band no warning no thing. I am interested to see if we are going to get some feedback on the major buddywing issues we have summed up so fare or we just get a ban for "fighting the power". We pay money, we expect to get results. If BW dont deliver what it PROMISE then give us our money back.
I do agree with the majority of the sentiment in this thread. I've been using (well, have access to, I certainly wouldn't call what this bot does "using") BW for a while now, and it's been really disappointing to see it slowly degenerate. There is not a single function that works better than it did when I first purchased it, and a multitude of things it now does worse. The space bot was hailed as the most amazing thing to ever come, and it lasted all of about 3 days. I'm also astounded that even after all this time, with wingit being the ONLY combat routine for most of the bots life, starting the bot continues to give compile error messages nearly every time. The biggest gripe I have, however, is that there is simply ZERO feedback from the devs. The only thread they ever reply to is the first "bot is down after xxx patch" and even then all that gets said is "BW updated for latest patch". We never get told, "we're working on xxx and will update you in a few days". There's just nothing. That wouldn't be bad if stuff was actually improving, but when there's no improvement and no comment from devs, then it is no surprise that this bot is getting shit-canned on other forums, let alone this one. I understand that they can't read, comment on and follow up every post, but surely some infrequent feedback isn't that far outside the realm of possibility. Your game seriously needs lifting.
Nefarious speaks wise words, why do dev's never take part in the discussions like fx. HonorBuddy? They promised a working bot but never delivered, we pay money and still I dont feel I have gotten anything for my money. I buddywing slowly getting killed by the buddyteam? Do you even have anyone developing on the bot more than just making it some what sable after a patch? What is the future plans for BW? Where are the space bot? I have so many questions but it seems they are never going to be answered except by the community. When you think about it its pretty awesome of us to still stick around even with all those frustrations and a non working bot We are faithful, lets hope we get something for out faith
