[Stable] Honorbuddy 1.9.5.0

Every time i try to start the EXTRACTED version of Honorbuddy by clicking 'Honorbuddy' icon then it just says 'Font 'Verdana' does not support style 'Regular'.'? What am i supposed to do? I've sent the error report...

I wouldn't call 34 deaths in 4 hours anything to write home about, and this is *with* using a CC (Ski's Warlock) and a profile (Mordd's 1-45) that are written FAR better than some of the other CCs, so it's not that I just have a crap CC/Profile.

Then perhaps the developers should refocus, and get back to perfecting the main purpose of the bot (grinding) and put these other requested features on the back burner until then.

Your logic is completely flawed here. First, who said anything about the community and/or customers being the guinea pigs here? What kind of product is this, that it relies on it's customers to test a release? I mean, has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I didn't purchase this bot to have faulty code, and have the onus on me to test it, report bugs, etc. so that it can get improved. Who would? Back with OpenBot, since it was free, it was (again as Apoc said) more focused on the product, not pleasing anyone. I think if you work on the first issue (HB itself) the second problem (satisfaction) will take care of itself, as a byproduct.

I'm speaking of the people who write the code themselves. They have a responsibility to test what they write before releasing it. Of course, there is no piece of software on the planet that is bug-free. That is not what I have, nor would ever state. It's just an unrealistic goal, and I think (at least) that we all understand that. Reading what Apoc wrote, I tend to agree. I'd rather wait a month, in fact, for a higher quality release, then more frequent updates that are quite frankly... wanting.

So HB devs, perhaps you should put your heads together and truly take this for what it is: constructive criticism. HB could be fantastic, but it just continues to miss the mark release after release, and we kept being told "Wait 2-3 weeks" over and over, and are continually disappointed. Have us wait 2 months, and fix 99% of the problems (the 1% being post-release bugs) before you even consider releasing it. If you want people to test it before release, by all means! A lot of us would be happy to test this, but at least do your part, and don't add the moniker "stable" to it, unless it truly is. Thank you.

No, any wow bot relies on offsets that are changed each time the wow client is updated so it is never going to be possible for this to happen. Your best bet is too search the archive section for a 3.3.3a release.

all the bugs aside this is still a wonderful bot.. lets not forget that

however, the questing and skinning bug are pretty annoying to say the least. overall, loooove this bot so far.

besides skinning/questing.. i can grind just fine all day using wired420's rogue cc and various northrend farming profiles.

 

I appreciate all the responses to my post and Apoc I appreciate an honest answer, you make very good points. likwid my post really was not a complaint, and my intentions were for it not to be a complaint if you saw it as that. it was an honest assessment of my experience with HB over SEVERAL SEVERAL months (this forum name is not my HB account). I have been around for basically all of the releases going back to HB1..I have had and DO HAVE the same success you have had running the bot (in fact probably more than yourself). The bot at its fullest potential has gotten 350+k xp/hr many, many times. However it does sometimes change from release to release as lets say there is a bug that slows down your xp/hr because you get stuck or whatever. You have to see that I am not stating that HB is broken and does not work. I was simply asking why new bugs keep popping up (ones such that slow xp/hr) and what my expectations should be for any HB release (which Apoc gracefully answered.) The bugs are not on my end, the reason for this is because I experience the same issues people are posting on the forums and seem to be getting addressed, which is fantastic. So I think you jumped the gun a bit and misunderstood what I said and what I was looking for.

 

Having problems skinning. Wont skin sometimes, and when it does it walks away from the corpse then back to it.

Wow can you fix the bug regarding the druid not changing to bear form on adds I mentioned it before the new release. ^^

 

This is why "bad" released keep getting pushed, imo.

People need to stop being so pushy and just wait patiently for the next release.

 

Release a build that runs fairly smooth...and people will not be pushing for the next release imo
