Top Ten Reasons to quit botting

1. It's morally wrong
2. You destroy games by botting
3. Blizzard will make all your efforts ultimately wasted, most of the time. True, some get away, but do the math. It's like drug dealing.
4. The moment you start botting, everything that comes after that is tainted.
5. Lance Armstrong is proof that botters ruin games and sports.
6. Eventually maggots eat so much of a dead corpse there is nothing left.

8. Blizzard has made gold is much less important than it ever was - thanks you botters. I made millions legitiimtely and have recently started giving it away.
9. The effort and risk you put into botting ends up giving you less satisfaction, achievement, and that unquantifiable inner-feel-goodness about yourself than playing legit.
10. Botting your way thru BGs deprives you of the best part of WOW - the journey is more important. YOu will end up at 90 with no knowledge of your class, or other classes. Not getting faction rep also sets you back.

If you are so bored with a game that you stoop to cheats, it's time to move on.

 

You know nothing of the joys I experience with botting.

 

Not really I play this game since Winter 2006 I leveled many many alts different classes (know the basic mechanics) by hand. But with university and going out with friends/gf there is very little time to level 15x85s to 90 with each taking me 15hours+ by hand. So overnight I let it bot all call to arms bgs and i gain roughly 70% of a level wich is awesome while living my life how its supposed to be. On the evenings I do arenas with my friends/raid finder etc. So I really dont see a reason to stop botting.

 

I'll agree with you on the PvP part, the rest is nonsense. I get no satisfaction whatsoever from farming leather or gathering herbs for 5 hours straight manually. If you do then you're clearly easier entertained than I am.

Also "cheaters only cheat themselves" makes you sound really stupid mate, I'm sorry.

 

Top 5 reasons that I keep botting,

1. I need gold for better gear and I need to buy BOE epics from AH so botting mats is great
2. The game is boring if u play only one toon, u need alts and also it helps u to progress if u keep a well geared alt to change with ur main when needed in raids (for example a fight requires great ranged dps but u play a melee one, u can quickly swap for the good of ur friends)
3. Easy reputations, some reputation grinds are not a journey but a torture, bot does it quiet simply, especially daily quest ones
4.I use everything that I grind for improving my guild mates, I boost them with mats and gold. We are a great team thanks to HB
5. If we dont bot, how the hell ppl in game going to find mats that they need for professions? Botting is bad for u, but not for ppl who buys my mats from AH like hell.

Lol yeah its the same thing in school when kids cheat on a math test and get away with it some kids that got caught or failed to cheat say the same thing xD

yes. i pay all my alcohol with money i got from botting. so everything after botting is tainted? maybe blurry.

i am not searching for pixel satisfaciton nor pixel achievements. actually, i feel pretty good with the "thing" i get from botting

you may be right. botting bg's is hard to turn in cash. sometimes i bot bg's for customers (powerlevel service) and... i dont care i can play the class or not. i care, the bot can play the class to fill my bankbook

yes. i did. botting on D3 already, and probably next week 10 accounts on GW2

 

Please don't talk about morals within a VIDEO GAME, such a thing doesn't exist, true morals anyway, it just makes you look like a huge nerd who cares too much about his virtual character in a virtual world.

Infact I feel as though I'm doing the world a favor by destroying world of warcraft, the game has stolen many lives and is used by many as an escape from their real world problems, instead of sorting them out they decide to waste their life on a game.

Well one good point is how gold is less important in the game. Its worth less to sell - less people need to buy it, and of course less people are playing this crappy expansion in the first place. Unlimited dailies?! WOW that sounds absolutely fcking terrible and no fun at all!! /cancel subscription.

 

Can someone ban this guy he might be them goody 2 shoes.
