Also CrazyJosh, I appreciate the efforts but i don't need to remind you that you are effectively selling your product (call it what you will, Donation what ever) Don't get me wrong I think your price is fair and ive payed it, But this is a payed product We have the right to complain about something that is not working as effectively as a previous release.. But "Out of the box" my monk was doing X amout of HPS during fight A and B with no user input (apart from moving) with the old release. and now my monk is doing -10-15k HPS less then X amount of HPS during fight A and B with no user input.. I have found the reaction time of the release. to be 200-400ms slower then the older release. I also found it rude that you expected me to read 154 pages of posts to find the "working settings" Perhaps if these setting are required they should have been posted on the starting page.. Regards.. "YOUR PAYING CUSTOMER"
good point here. josh, it would be nice if you can post your recommended settings for 5, 10 and 25 mans on the first post, since everyone noticed less healing since the update.
when i used this new revision in the arena it just wasn't working right. some kind of delay or something, just not healing/reacting fast enough, did pretty bad went 2-10. then i switched back to revision 6 for arenas and it was back to pure awesomeness, my partner's HP getting topped off at all times and very quickly too. went undefeated 10-0. both using preset PVP settings.
With the patch today, Chi Wave and Chi Burst effectively become useless, and should never be used in a raid over any other Chi Spender, so just set to 0. Other than that, there really isn't a whole lot that needs to be changed with the bot for mistweaver. Obviously Jab is no longer the only viable option of generating Chi, soothing mist should now be set to 95 and we will now be able to heal effectively at range and generate Chi reliably as well. I'm really looking forward to todays changes making Ranged Healing now an option with the increase to Chi generation and reduction in mana cost of soothing. As far as the bot go's after todays patch, nothing will really need to be changed for mistweavers, I forsee my settings for tonights raid being the same as always, only I will now be standing at ranged with Soothing Mist set to 95 instead of 0, and Chi Wave set to 0 instead of 95 because it will now be garbage. Renewing Mist 100 Soothing Mist 95 Enveloping Mist 35 (Just incase Tank Healer fucks up) Spinning Crane Kick 4 @ 95 Uplift 5 @ 90 Life Cocoon 20 Everything Else @ 0 Stand at range now instead of melee, and continue to top the healing charts.
Say you had 4 guys at 80 percent health not stacked what would you do? Cast soothing on them? I don't quite get that part...
Hope renewing mist is on them and uplift, nothing changes from before other than you use soothing to generate Chi now instead of Jab
It's extremely rare you will only have 4 targets under 90% and not 5+ I only raid 25 mans, so I can't speak for 10 mans.
This is pretty much what I was talking about in terms of healing being lower, I only arena/pvp mostly. I noticed it was very slow also, sometimes it was fine most times just very slow to "kick in". That was all with the latest version by the way (rev19). So revision 6 works for arena? I'll check it out, thanks!
Also, if you have Uplift set to be used on less targets than you have Spinning Crane Kick set to be used on, the bot seems to NEVER use spinning crane kick, which is bad, and is why I have it set to 5. It got me a spot in the world top ten healers for Heroic Elegon Different encounters call for different settings, the settings I posted will generally be good for every encounter, and the best for most of them.
