I think it's safe to say it is ALWAYS better to cast soothing before casting Enveloping mists. With 5.1 the mana cost of soothing was reduced by 33% and the CHI generation was increased to 35% chance. Which now makes it our primary source of CHI generation and should now be used over jab in almost all situations while raiding. To hardcast EM = 2 Second Cast time, which means 2 seconds before a heal starts on the tank or raid member, which is the difference between life and death in some situations. To Soothing Mist cast EM = 1 Second Global to start Soothing, followed by EM, which means in that 1 Second global you get off a tick of soothing mist on the tank/raid member, a 35% chance to generate a CHI, and EM starts on the raid member 1 second sooner than it would if you hardcasted it. Hope that clears things up. If you're in a situation where you need to cast EM, the healing from Soothing Mist will help anyways, and the mana cost should be a non issue, as it is now our primary CHI generator anyways.
I agree! Same thing should be implented with Surging Mist. The CR is really slow when it comes to fast heavy healing, the tank usually dies in raids before the CR even notices it.
I got you now. I forgot that they buff Soothing Mist in 5.1 Next release we will make Enveloping Mist always cast after Soothing Mist

All level 30 talents are garbage now, don't use them. Don't jab, use Soothing to generate CHI.
Windwalker CR completely stops while you're strafing. Only way to keep it going is to run either forward or backwards, not sideways.

How do I update the special edition now? I click update SVN then it says requires uername and password. I give it my info which Tuan gave me and said he reset the account details for me a few days ago but still does not work. I get this error. I'm using the paid version of the CC and am currently doing 10m raids in MV and HoF. I've messed with my numbers for healing and can't quite find the right settings. Anyone have good settings for 10m on MWs with the new 5.1 patch?
