The title says all: I've been reported for botting. What should I do now? Stop botting and see if they ban me or not? How long should I wait, if so? Otherwise? Thanks guys...
Okay, do yourself a favor, dont use it for a week. Reports are scary in volume, if its one like your saying, I would simply play a few hours here and there every day to be safe ( if you can ) or play your character a bit every day for a week... see if anythings suspiscious then after a week be on your way with your regular routines.
you are not required to answer whisps, if u dont answer that doesnt necessarily mean you are botting (well you were duh), i ignore players too even when im playing legit. i'd just continue normally its just some legit blizz kiddie fanboys or other botters pissed off at u , probably didnt even report, just said it to " scare you off"
You keep botting, Ive been reported a lot, Blizz doesnt care, they get thousands of those reports a day, they will care when they find some good evidence on you, not just player reports
Depends how much you care about the account, others have outlined your two basic choices. Either you lay low for a bit on that account and play it by hand, or you ignore it and just keep trucking along. Its pretty obvious you aren't selling gold by the nature of your question, so I would assume you care somewhat about the account. If this assumption is correct, then I would advise you to lay low for a bit. Also, next time someone whispers you "reported for botting" go ahead and report them for harassment. If anything it might work in your favor if they decide to check out the report. Just my two cents.
