Has anyone tried running Honorbuddy on Windows 8? If so does it work correctly?

Yea it works if you have these 2 things.

      A great CPU.
      and some good internet.

otherwise the bot will load very very slowly. and you will get bad performance in-game and get stuck on many things.

b/c windows 8 loves to have hidden apps run in the background. lol

My pc is average i5 quad core, ati 6950 and 8gb of ram. Windows 8 is fine, it uses less resources than my win 7 install and runs faster.
I can play 2 maxed out wows fine including 2 bots.

Off-Topic but I was one of the biggest Windows 8 haters when it was in development but I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Been using it ever since :D, once you get used to having a fullscreen start menu its actually a fine OS. Task manager is great, its very fast and you rarely change your usage style. I sleep so my PC boots in literally 3 seconds haha.

i love the task manager. shows clockrates if you have it set up right.

and as far as the start button, you could probly do a theme download or something and just have it added.

I made a computer shortcut... and placed it in the bottom left on the toolbar.
and in the bottem left corner ... you get that full screen start menu thing. very nice.

I would say 70% of the hb user base uses win 7 64bit, so saying it doesn't work makes no sense at all.

Some people actually prefer innovation; your perspective is outdated and informed by a myopic digital experience.

Mine was not necessarily a pro MS response more than it was a volley against the overall decrying of change as it relates to technology. Seems a lot of people are quick to attack what is unfamiliar to them. Touch is being lauded with Windows 8 simply because touch has been hot among consumers. It is by no means required and is far from the only change in Windows 8. In my case (aside from the new start screen experience) it?s far superior to any prior MS OS. If someone would develop a Windows 8 app that kept me updated of my bot 'goings-on' then I would use the new start screen more. If you?ve a UEFI bios you can see boot times of a few seconds, resume from sleep is near instant; this means more time for botting. The OS parks a lot of applications/services that run in the background when not being actively used freeing up CPU and RAM for my instances of Wow. I can run plenty of instances of wow now while keeping my e-mail l/chat/voice clients running.
Provided you?ve the patience to install it and you?re hardware isn?t 10 years old, I?d highly recommend it. Windows 7 was great, Windows 8 has made it better. Also, people tend to poo-poo on Microsoft when they do something new, but will sleep outside for days to get the latest and greatest Apple product...that hasn't done anything but release itself in White. And, since we're being anecdotal: everyone I know is moving to Windows 8.
