It really is hot. They even cut you up on phone pretty fast... they seem busy as hell... maybe legal fuk is takin em too long..
im happy for you, i made a ticket 15 hrs ago about my ban, no answer, no email, their service must be busy as fuck to let someone ban with no email while 15h+ for this kind of problem....
mine was overturned, no email ever received response to my ticket: maybe someone on their side made a booboo
Okay. Let me slow this down for your childish brain to understand. I'm seeing HUNDREDS of people with perma-bans today. More than I've seen in any one burst since banwave of 2007. I'm sure you were still jerking off to JCPenny catalogs back then, but it's ok I don't judge you for that. Just because this wave doesn't fit YOUR definition of what one is, it sure as hell fits right into mine just fine. QUIT TELLING PEOPLE TO FARM! IT IS NOT SAFE! You're a groveling sack licking ass kisser that is only here to please these Devs and you sicken me. Grow some balls. Also, I was listening to your opinion or I would not have called you out on your bullshit. And you are so fucking dumb that you don't realize not one but TWO common references? get out of here kid and quit tainting what was a civilized and semi-structured fact-finding conversation until you showed up trying to sound like you know what the fuck you're talking about.
It's humorous to me to see the reaction here to the word "banwave". Yea, starting threads with banwave in the title, or being the sole topic, is verboten...I understand that. But mention a mass banning of dozens of people as a banwave? Yea, panties in bunch... So I propose we now refer to the events of the last 24 hours, and the sudden banning with no warnings or emails, as The Great "holycrapalotofbansjusthappened" Event of December 2012. So yea, The Great "holycrapalotofbansjusthappened" Event of December 2012 sounds a lot better to me than a "banwave", Carry on....
You're seeing hundreds, which means at least 200 (hundreds = plural) of bans today.... Are those 200+ Accounts, or 200+ unique users banned. How many of them have 10+ accounts tied to them. If all of them does it mean only 20 got banned.... Not trying to say you're wrong. But i have only seen a handful of ban reports. Some ranging from 20-24 hour botters (suicide botters) to people who bot 8 hours every single day on 10+ accounts. Maybe you should compile a list of these "hundreds" of botters who have been banned in the past 24 hours.
Botters are botters man. Doesn't matter if you have one account or 30. Yes every account counts in my eyes. I think your definitions and mine differ marginally and that's ok. I'm done with this thread. Sorry for everyone's loss. Hang in there!
Im not saying we have different definitions on banwave, im asking for you to provide proof that hundreds of accounts have been banned in the past 24 hours as you have claimed. Falsifying information by saying things like "Front page is full of banned accounts" if you're looking at the ban section... well DUH. Just asking for where you have gotten your magical "hundreds of botters" from.
They do this all the time, gather alot of bot accounts and ban them all at the same time to scare the botters in to thinking its a banwave. This has nothing to do with a banwave, im botting away just fine !
Received a 72 hour suspension on my main account while using kicks SWC rep profile. I don't leave it running over night but I start when I go to work and then turn it off when I got to sleep so about 8-10 hours not everyday but most days. I assume it was because of player reports because I saw a lot of others there too either botting another SWC rep profile or horde grinding the bots. Not exactly sure what happened but I appealed it anyways. I actually got banned 2 years ago as well for abuse of economy, this was before I was even botting and reason given was use of third party software. I was farming my ass off for at least 12 hours + a day to get some gold. EDIT: Here's first reply I got Hello there Your account is under a temporary suspension, due to breach of our policies. An e-mail with the specific details of your case was sent to you at the start of your suspension. Once this suspension has expired, your account will once again become available, and you may log on and play as you wish. Please note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination. Please note, it is necessary for you to log into the game after the suspension has passed; this will update the status of your account displayed on the Account Management page. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reply to this ticket and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Kindest regards, EDIT 2: Here's second reply I got Hello, I've reviewed the action taken against your account again and once more confirmed it is valid. The suspension and final warning will remain in place. If you feel you have been treated unfairly you may write to CSFeedbackEU@blizzard.com Regards, I gave them a very poor survey
I got this while using GB2... Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks") This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.
With all due respect if you hadn't botted on the account since April doesn't that indicate that its far more likely to be gathered reports or something other than a new detection system? If you hadn't botted since April then how does that prescribe not botting now? I don't understand the correlation at all.
Managed to get both of my accounts back. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...93977-banned-accounts-12-6-2012-reopened.html I played on it but didn't bot, I turned it into a "main" account. They would have dumped reports since April, that was 8 months ago. Like I said, probably associated it with the botting accounts somehow, but it is now unlocked and all is well.
Banned today on a SOR account I bought yesterday. Using profession buddy to level herbing and mining. Farmed for an hour or two yesterday. Woke up this morning and had it running for an hour or so. Bammo, dc'ed tried to log back in, banned. No email and it happened over two hours ago.
I think your case is related to the Unmerged Account auto flag thing they do. All yours takes is an ID sent in and should be unlocked, don't think its related.
OK, I just got the email. It says: "This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency." Abuse of economy crap... I guess that explains why my other account is still active. I'm going to appeal and play innocent. Think there's any chance of them reversing their ban on the account? Edit: What do I do if they ask for an ID? Obviously the original name on the account isn't the same as my name. The battle.net account is under my real name, but so are all my other accounts including my real account. I wouldn't want them to realize I have other accounts in my name and suddenly ban those too.
