Anywhere between 10-16 hours on average... I do think its alot, but reality is its feasible for a human to play that amount of time. On my main account though 1-2 hours farming for a little bit of gold to tide me over.
guys 8-16 hrs? it's not much, people play 18 hrs legit per day. I play like 8-16 hrs, but if I'm home I'm online on wow anyway.
Longest ive botted was 6 days 24/7, stopped due to tuesday mat, started back up again. not counting tuesday, most likely 2-3 weeks. I switch zones and also only stopped long enough to empty my bags of vender trash/smelt black and white ore. I stopped before the nerf. Now they are running bgs. Took me tell now to burn those herbs into ink and sell them on the ah. still have about 800 or so fools cap.
Since I'm botting on my main I'm trying to play it somewhat safe and sticking to 8-12 hours a day, mix it up usually and some days I don't bot at all, so I guess it looks somewhat realistic (apart from the fact that I'm farming for 95% of my time online, lol.)
im botting on 2 accounts atm, 6 hrs ( +-a few percent) farming, zonechange, 6hrs pause (+- a few percent) and then 6 hrs famin and so on - on both accounts, but asynchronous
Exactly. Back in TBC it wasn't uncommon for me and my guild to be online 14-18 hours a day while we raided as we were trying for world/realm firsts. People are still like that - I think botting 16-18 hours a day is actually very believable.
I personally don't think wow gives much of a shit. As long as you don't mess up other players (ah) and they legit efforts they won't ban you. The more subs the better and that's all they care about. Did you guys hear the interview with ghost crawler? He was pretty straight forward in his message. "We were so successful in this expansion because we have made it impossible for the individual to complete anything in a timely manner, hence the huge amounts of dailies." They know that the longer they can keep your attention the longer you will pay that SUbscription fee. They won't do anything crazy like ban all the bots or they will literally be emptying 40-60% of all realms give or take. That's just a random number of course but I can only give room for my experience, everyone I've talked about knows and uses HB lol.
Been going 24/7 on numerous accounts for the past month and a half. Only downtime is maintenance. 1 Ban on a newly created SoR account that I hand leveled to 82 and never botted on.
