You do realize that the CLIENT is running on your local LAN...... there is nothing legal preventing them from knowing your MAC.
Mac spoofing exists to access peoples WAN as well, it's not some super secret code only your computer will ever know. If you were an "IT person" you would know this. heck their are free programs to sniff out peoples MAC addresses when they connect to their router....
Dude, the single most important fact is that the WoW client is run on the local machine, thus granting it access to all info.
BTW if you got ban on wow acc, other accounts on the same battle.net user may not get ban. Other games like sc2 and diablo3 WON'T GET BANN.
OK, I received a response to my ticket regarding my account lock. They said they will unlock it if I send them the account recovery form, and a copy of my driver's license. Here's the thing... the bnet is in my name, the SoR I bought obviously isn't in my name, but I already merged it. So if I send them my ID will they unlock the account, or will they say that the ID doesn't match? Has anyone had any success with this issue before?
OK, that's what I thought. Thanks for the info. That being said, is there any point in buying the SoR accounts anymore, or do they always get auto locked? How do you safely go about buying an account?
You can change the password on the account and it will unlock because of the email they send to the Bnet email...like jesus christ are you that stupid?
Do you even have any idea what you're talking about? I have the password. Changing a password won't get a ban removed from an account you retard.
Actually, I submitted two recovery requests using the recovery form for two banned accounts that were banned on the 6th and both were reopened and had the actions removed. Part of the recovery process is changing the password and "securing" the account.
Right, but that's different than what the other rude guy said. He just said change the password and it will unlock the account. On the two accounts you got back, were they SoR accounts, or your original accounts? They want a photo ID from me, and it's not going to match the original name on the account.
Both were original accounts that I had, however I had received the SoR for them to re-activate on both
Yeah, that's a bit different. You usually don't know the original account name on purchased SoR accounts.
If it's locked specifically because the names do not match then you are right, it won't work. But if it's locked for "Suspicious activity" then you can change the password and enter your Bnet info and it will unlock the account.
