[PB][N] 1-600 Herbalism & Mining - By Lbniese (Fully Automated!)

i had to level from 400-500 by hand because it kept saying can't find the profiles for those levels re downloaded and reinstalled hb and the profiles

 

Loving the bot. Running it in northrend with only one problem.

Often, herbalism will cap before mining does. At that point, the bot will stop picking up nodes. I've been running it for an hour now and have only gained one level. It flies over all herbs and ignores many mining nodes too. Ignore gray nodes is set to false. Any idea what's causing this?

From what YOU couldn't gather from what I was saying is that the profile wasen't working good from 1-300 and therefore I recommended doing it manually, OR as I said "Run the profiles separately". Either learn to quote people correctly or don't quote at all, THANK YOU VERY MAS.

This profile works now almost perfect. One small risk that happened to me: going with "225" skill in mining/herbing to felwood is too early, because for herbing first herb there is sungrass that req 230. You should edit southern barrens to 180-230 instead of 225.

With risk I mean, I guess profile maker thought that herb gets to 230 on the way to felwood, but I had only at 228.. which kind of broke it.


atm. 450 both almost automatically (had to fix profile a bit myself)

 

can this run fine with mixed mode bgbuddy?

 

Okay guys.. i have finally had time to look into the issues with this profile. Sorry for the long waiting time. Everything should be working again, but maybe i have to re-write some gathering profiles (Deepholm only atm)

 

Thanks mate, I am running it again and seems to be running and doing the right thing again!
Before it was stuck in winterspring because mining leveled faster and then wouldnt do anything because mining was to high for there and herbing was to low..

So works great now will update if encounter any errors but im doubtful

 

your farm profiles are very good, the only thing that bother me the bot will not collect anything. He always leaves from 10 plants and flies just keep set is that he should collect everything but he does not do it.

 

Maybe is the "herbspots" blacklisted or someting like that? I don't see why they should be left.

Hello and thanks for the profile!

I started this on a level 90 druid with level zero herbalism and checked off mining as I only want to level herbs.

Everything was going perfectly until the druid got to Cape of Stranglethorn. Here, at level 160, he refuses to pick up either Fadeleaf, Khadgar's Whisker, Goldleaf and I think Liferoot. He's only picking up Bruiseweed. I stopped the bot and checked these nodes myself. There's nothing near them, perfectly attainable, and no reason for them not to get picked up, and they are orange and yellow now (as I have manually gotten the druid to 175). Still though, at 175, he won't go pick them up and so, he just flies around forever wasting his time.

Any ideas on what might be going on?

EDIT: I just saw the bot blacklist things because they are allegedly "gray" which they are not! Fadeleaf shows as Yellow, Kahdgar's Whisker shows as Orange, and Goldthorn shows as Yellow!

So why is the bot doing this, as seen below in this cut & paste form the log?

Here's a log from a brief run where it blacklisted everything it could have plucked.

Another thought (from looking at the log): If my herb level is 176 (which it is, and the bot sees that), then why is it starting the profile [GB2][A] 160-175 - Herbalism & Mining - Cape of Stranglethorn - by Lbniese.xml with an upper limit of 175?

EDIT 2:

So I used another profile to get up to 375 (worked like a charm) and thought I'd come back and try this one to see if my issue above was merely at the level mentioned. It is not. Even at 375, this profile goes to the wrong zone (1 level beneath my skills) AND blacklists everything that it could be getting improvements in skill on (not grey nodes).

IMHO, this profile has a problem that needs to be addressed. Others posting after this seem to be having similar problems.

 

Really sad that it doesn't wait for mining when herbing is finished sooner. My mining was 12 when he went back to SW to train. Otherwise, nice job! Herbing is going very smooth!

 

Don't know if it's something that I am doing wrong. But my character is at 239 Herb and 232 mining (+10 with the pick) and the bot just will not really leave Southern Barrens :/

Profile is not picking up anything. Herb: 240 Mine: 275. In Winterspring flying laps around. Didn't pick up one thing in 2 hours.

 

My bot keeps farming Felwood at 235 Herb/250 Mining, but ore in this area is grey and herbs are red, where should i farm to level it?

That's caused by wrong gb2 settings.

Lbniese, I'm stuck at 236 Herb, because Felwood is bad area for 235-275. Mines are gray, herbs are red, what profile should i use?

 

Still not working properly despite SVN update

Hello and thanks for trying to make this work.

I have updated from your SVN moments ago and I just ran the profile and it still fails at working properly.

As you can see in the attached log, it reads my current level of Herbalism properly ([22:27:25.264 D] Mine/Herb 1-600: Herbalism.Level: 365) and yet, while in Howling Fjord, it still continues to blacklist every node, for example
Goldclover which is orange to me ([22:35:38.341 D] Mine/Herb 1-600: Blacklisting Goldclover because it's grey).

I hope you can figure out what's going wrong as it's a bit frustrating. I hope my log helps.
