- Windwalker recommended Talent ang Glyph: Mists of Pandaria - Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (Must have [Glyph of Flying Serpent Kick]) is that glyph still required? The one in the link is fists of fury.
Just want to say I love this cc, Ive tried some cc's for some other classes and this one has everything I need for a monk.
Only if you use flying serpent kick that more for questing ect.. if you turn flying serpent kick off you dont need the glyph if your using lazerraider it wont use FSK unless you make it. you dont need it at all if your raiding hope that helps a little.

i have a question about mosuris settings: uplift at 1 target below 97% hp in a situation where everyone is topped and the tank gets to 95% by a minor hit, this would basically waste 2 chi for an uplift instead of doing nothing right? of course this generates hps, but it doesnt feel "right" does it? wouldnt it be "smarter" regarding efficiency to set uplift to 3 targets below 85 percent and chi wave to 2 targets below say 90?
Perhaps, while 2 healing tho I did 70k odd hps and 12k overheating so it doesn't do too badly as you would believe, I just don't like it set too high in units due to what I feel is less healing, I will try two units tonight and let you know the difference Also, I previously had uplift set to 3 units and barely did 40k so I wouldnt do that again
It was my understanding that fists of fury was a dps boost, especially with 2 piece bonus (Shortens cooldown of FoF by 5 seconds)
yesterday i did HoF again with Uplift on 1 @ 97% and Chi Wave on 3 @ 87%, what i recognized was that Chi Wave seems to have a higher priority in the CR then Uplift, coz Chi Wave was used more often than Uplift. and like nevi already said: i feel like the same, with Uplift on 1 (max 2) units i do more hps than with uplift on 3 or more. but thats my and probably nevi's personal preference and experience. if you feel better with uplift on 3, feel free to use it . my settings were just a suggestion to help the other users out with their mana problems after the fkking faceroll nerfs to mistweavers and as far as i know, most of the users went fine and still topped the healing charts. and yeah, it's a general "rule": you have to find your own settings that will get the best out of your char, coz not every1's settings fitting your own char as well as they maybe could if you do little fine adjustments. just my 2 cents.
Indeed, like I would use chi torpedo over rushing jade wind whilst others would stick with it. Find what works for you, but mosuris settings are a good base to start.
Windwalker will do higher DPS if you only use Fists of Fury when you have low energy and don't have Energizing Brew on. The purpose of the ability is to allow sustained DPS while continuing the regenerate energy. If at any point you cap out on energy while channeling this ability, then you're wasting DPS. The difference is ultimately waiting just a couple of seconds longer rather than using it on cooldown. Also, Expel Harm doesn't seem to be high enough on the priority list. I've noticed that even when my health is below the threshold it doesn't use the ability except in a couple of scenarios that don't occur often. Expel Harm can ultimately take the place of Jab as a one-time chi builder and healer as well (but on a cooldown) so long as your HP is below the threshold. Furthermore, for Mistwavers, Expel Harm costs less mana than Jab and can be used as a cheaper Chi Builder on a 15 second cooldown with a self-heal side effect.
Tuanha, I'm sorry to bug, but I haven't really been on for a few weeks. I haven't recieved an email containing the new svn information. I donated, a while back. I have other posts in this thread stating so. Thank you.
492 Mistweaver here, 6/16 Heroic 25 man. I have tried multiple settings since the Mistweaver nerfs I am back on top of the meters since the nerfs simply by doing the following. The bot does; Jab to 3 Chi Blackout Kick Disabled Tiger Palm Disabled Life Cocoon @ 25% Renewing Mist @ 100% Uplift @ 97% on 1 Unit TFT @ 5 Units Lvl 30 Talents Disabled, they all suck, uplift still > all. Manually I do the following, which is not hard; Stay in Melee Range Chi Torpedo x3 on Melee/Tanks during heavy raid damage SCK on Melee/Tanks when Chi Torpedo is on cooldown and during heavy raid damage If raid is taking no damage and tanks are taking heavy damage, place healing spheres manually under tanks for amazing tank healing. Hope that helps you folks out, Chi Torpedo is now an AMAZING talent and a must have. It costs no mana which helps alot since the recent nerfs, and does a huge amount of raid healing. It's better to be used manually, so the bot does not shoot you into things that will kill you, such as the purple circle under garalon, or the flanking orders on Spirit kings, you get the idea. Soothing / Surging / Enveloping = Bad in PVE You shouldn't be tank healing in the first place, but if you must help out your tank healers, snipe them with healing spheres. The above is information is the best and I know some of you other progression Mistweavers here will agree with me.
