Stop being ignorant and read Blizzard's End User License Agreement for yourself!!!!

This statement is directly from Blizzard's End User License Agreement. They are allowed to scan whatever the hell they want while you use their program to ensure the integrity of it. You agreed to this User Agreement to use their program, giving them consent to search the contents of your RAM. It's not against the law, because you agreed to their EULA. Get over yourselves. Yes, this is nothing new, so close the thread. But the threat exists and it is VERY possible this guy got an email from Blizzard stating they found Honorbuddy on his computer.

so if the EULA said they could rape your mom, does that make it not against the law? Law > EULA

Show me, in which law, in the exact context such as I just linked making it illegal to scan your computer (not access personal information outside their limits). You gave them consent to search for illegal processes concurrent while running with World of Warcraft. If you are soooo ignorant about this, LINK me the exact law.

Actually, when you agreed to their terms of use you also agreed to this:

I am trying to prove a point. I am saying that they are able, and WILL scan your RAM. Ofc you guys already knew that. Most are too ignorant to think they would actually do it.

You have a good point, it's legal, but I don't think they have found a way to detect the actual Honorbuddy process injecting into the game.

No need to come on here and act like a douchebag. You have no proof of anything and are just forcing your theories and talking down to us at the same time. Get lost kid.

Blizzard does not scan outside of memory "owned" by D3 (or D2, WoW and SC2). That's a fact. If you try to argue something else then at least post some proof backing up your claims.
That doesn't mean the EULA is wrong though. They just didn't specify the limitations of their scans.

Let me make that bigger for you incase you can't read Achmed

if they violate the Law, their TOS are not even a piece of shit :)

I'm sueing them for violating the law, disrespecting my privacy, not for anything else.

the "e-mail" clearly stated they scanned for honorbuddy.exe / process with success. i'm just lazy and put hb.exe there so everyone should know what its about.

They NEVER point out the way they've found out you cheat, they just claim to have proven you do.
With all the bans which have hit me, I've never gotten any exact proof, and I doubt anyone ever will.

And it doesn't matter if you've agreed to they can scan or not, its STILL ilegal.
