Yeah, damn all you euros with your fast internet. My provider is the only internet provider available where I live - basically in the woods in the middle of nowhere. My line is supposed to be 5Mb Downstream/0.5Mb Upstream.. So it looks like it performs exactly how it should. I pay $50 a month for this crap. But the good thing is, my amount of downloads is not capped like Comcast. I can download as much as I want all month long at 5Mbps without having to pay some kind of fee or whatever for going over my limit.
For teh lulz with iPhone also, I don't think work connections count with this game and an actual fact is that south Korea has th fastest average internet speeds with an average of I think 90mbps
I have to say that these Tests aren't always accurate. Most ISPs Have Extremely Fast connections to start with that allows for quick buffering of videos and fast loading of webpages. after a few hundred MBs, it goes back down to what you actually get. so these tests only test that initial boost of speed before you are throttled back down. Actually DL a large file through Torrents or UseNet and see what the speed is there. Also MBs/sec is different from Mbs/sec (Mega Bytes and Mega bits) But for the sake of the game... I pay approx $40USD/month for 10 Mb Down, and .5Mb Up (I talked the Tech into giving me all the Up he could). I live in a very Rural area. I wish I was back in the City with my 35Mb/s CONTINUOUS Down. [GF] Lets Watch a (Insert Movie Here) [Me] Sure let me DL it... by the time she gets the Popcorn and drinks... The movie is ready. ahhhhhh those were the days!
Damn all you Euros with your 90 mb/s connections! and Trinity is correct, its only the first 100 mb's or so is all the boost they can get for loading web pages, then the actual speed, but i have gotten 2mb/s in utorrent before.
